Is being selfish - good or bad?
Being selfish doesn't really work for me, but learning how to become Selflessly Selfish really did! I had always thought selfishness was bad, but surely putting yourself first is one of the definitions of self-esteem (to a certain extent). This is a clip from video 36 - where I ask, "Is it sensible to be too nice?"

I’m of the school that says put your own oxygen mask on first.😉 being ‘selfless’ to the extreme would lead to burnout and possibly resentment. Because really all we do for anyone else is ultimately for ourselves. Helping others makes us feel good. But then telling people about it is simply virtue signalling. I’ll put a better comment when I’ve watched the video 😂 Just responding to the title
Welcome, introduction video and list of all content...
Welcome, I have here a 70-video series about everything I learned about anxiety, OCD and depression, from my total recovery and working as a complex anxiety therapist for 20 years. This course comprises over 400,000 words, 70 hours of video and took 5 years to complete. It is for people who are serious about helping themselves. There are no quick fixes, but there is a proven process, The Calmness in Mind Process. For testimonials, go here - https://calmnessinmind.com/home/anxiety-therapy-testimonials/ It is for intelligent people seeking sensible ways to find greater calm, trust, courage, and self-love. They then wish to decide who they wish to become and what they desire to do with their life, and learn to acquire life skills to make that happen. The course is ideal for: - Those experiencing mental health issues - especially, anxiety, OCD, Pure OCD, ADD & Bipolar Depression. - New therapists need to learn how to treat these conditions effectively - Those who have to support an anxious or depressed loved one. - Those wishing to learn how to teach their children how to navigate life more calmly - Anybody wishing to learn new life skills for trust, courage and optimism The first 4 videos are free - check them out, and I have many free explanation videos. Trust me, this will change your life :-) (if you do the work). Let's go. John xx For your reference, as this process includes a lot of content, here is a list of most of it; however, every step is important, and each step builds on the last, even if you don't know that yet. Remember, your growth (will likely) come from what you don't yet know, otherwise you'd already be OK! Free: Video 1 - Introduction to anxiety & OCD Video 2 - Understanding what you are dealing with Video 3 - Thoughts, emotions and exhaustion Video 4 - The 6-month anxiety development phase Go here, watch those 4 for free - https://www.skool.com/the-calmness-in-mind-process-1165/classroom/fe7da54f?md=7ae94f75c72c4d7296e1dc3008dd7319
