Announcing the next two courses!!! You all spoke and said you would like an Excel course separate from the Tools of the Trade course. So, there will be two more courses coming up on the horizon. Here’s the expected publishing dates: 1) Fundamentals of Excel: Friday, June 19th 2) Tools of the Trade: Friday, July 3rd BEFORE you start these courses, go complete the others and the practice sets!!! I can’t stress that enough. The Excel course can work as a stand alone course. But the Tools of the Trade will likely make much more sense in light of the other courses. After these, I have some other BIG things planned 🙌 Stay tuned.

Hope all my US based members had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! I wanted to take a moment and let you know what is on the horizon for this week in Ten Talents: 1) I plan to post the Tools of the Trade course. This will be useful for those that don’t know what kinds of tech are commonly used by business finance professionals. There will even be some bonus softwares in there you may not have heard before but that I recommend. So, be sure to check out that course when it publishes! 2) I will finish planning the next phase of the community. Here’s the top 3 things I’ve been gathering from you all (thanks to everyone who’s messaged me and answered the polls) - You want more practice - You want to learn from others a few steps ahead of you - You want to know how to get clients (for those on the entrepreneurial route) I plan to start tackling these topics for you all next! I’m REALLY excited about this one 🤩 3) I plan to update a couple videos - specifically, the About & Start Here videos. But with this, I’d be happy to get feedback from those that have opinions on the published course videos. DM me if you’d like for me to add anything in those courses and I’ll see what can be done. As you can see, there’s a lot on the schedule for this week. While you all are waiting for this to get finished, I cannot stress this enough. Take. The. Courses. … and do the Practice Sets…. These are just the beginning, but they are SOOO fundamental!!! I’m even considering making the future phase of this community exclusive ONLY to those that have taken the courses and done the practice sets. So, if I go that route, you might want to get ahead of the curb 😉

Guys… I made a HUGE mistake this week 😫 I had a post do really well on LinkedIn. A lot of engagement. 150+ followers gained. 20+ reposts. Sounds good, right? Except I forgot to link this community in the post. So, basically, my greatest performing “lead gen” product…. Didn’t produce any leads👎 Don’t make the same mistake. I didn’t think this post would even do that well. But it was the kind of post that I should have DEFINITELY fed to this community. Oh, well. You live and you learn🤷‍♂️ So, the next time you are just “going through the motions”… Remember that any given moment could be the big break you’ve been waiting for.
