π₯ Friday, May 1, 2026 β BIG MATCH DAY Friday card loaded with value across tennis, football, and CS2. Three Challenger quarter-finals, one Madrid Open semi-final, key LaLiga2 promotion clash, and a big Premier League day. Plus three CS2 picks rounding it out. βββββββββββββββββββββββ πΎ TENNIS π’ Bergs vs Hijikata β Aix-en-Provence Challenger β 10:00 UK Bergs to win @ 1.48 Why: Bergs is the third seed for a reason. Stronger serve, deeper game on clay, and Hijikata has a negative career record on this surface (25-33). Both came through round one but Bergs has the edge in power and consistency. π’ Damas vs Faria β Mauthausen Challenger β 10:30 UK Faria to win @ 1.33 Why: Faria is the seventh seed and has 14-8 record on clay this season. Damas is ranked 271 (career-high) and is the underdog despite recent run. Faria has better clay pedigree (93-66 career on the surface) and stronger serve numbers. π’ Arnaldi vs Borges β Cagliari Challenger 175 β 11:00 UK Borges to win @ 1.60 Why: Borges leads the head-to-head 2-0 (both wins in 2022). Borges is the third seed, fresh from a bye into round 2. Arnaldi is returning from foot injury, only 3-8 on clay this season, and physically not at peak. Borges is the smarter side. π₯ Sinner vs Fils β Madrid Open SF β 15:00 UK Sinner to win @ 1.17 Why: World number one on a 21-match winning streak. Hasn't dropped a set in Madrid this tournament. Fils is hot off Barcelona title but this is his first Masters semi-final and Sinner absorbs aggressive baseline players. Class differential clear. π’ Blockx vs Zverev β Madrid Open SF β 19:00 UK Zverev to win @ 1.41 Why: Zverev has experience and ranking advantage heavily on his side. Blockx had a great quarter-final upsetting Ruud, but Zverev is a former Madrid champion and his game on clay is well-suited to the high-altitude surface. Experience wins this stage. βββββββββββββββββββββββ β½ FOOTBALL π’ Deportivo La CoruΓ±a vs LeganΓ©s β LaLiga 2 β 17:30 UK Deportivo to win @ 1.56 Why: Deportivo are 2nd in LaLiga 2 chasing direct promotion, unbeaten in last 6, strong at Riazor. LeganΓ©s are 14th-15th, coming off a 0-4 thrashing by Andorra, in psychological crisis with key defenders missing. Big motivation gap.
