Nothing is free, there is always a pricetag, even if it’s just an email address or 60 seconds of your attention. Or maybe you have to pay some money up front to get access to the opportunity. The important question is what does it cost? Or better yet, what does it cost you not to? After I learn about your situation and your concerns, I may make suggestions. My suggestions are meant to not cost you anything if you take them. Let me give you an example. To make a living trust for your estate plan, you may have to pay $1,000 to $3,500. If you have any assets but do not have a trust, just the initial cost of a probate attorney will be $25,000 minimum, it may take 2 years for them to finish the process before your heirs get anything at all. If you have a trust, the trustee immediately takes control of the assets and avoids all that hassle. So ask yourself, the price is $1,000 but does it cost you anything? What is the cost of not paying for the trust?
