Hello everyone, I recently finished a full-length screenplay and did a round of revisions. I'm looking for a beta reader to give me some thoughts on how good it is and what can be improved. In particular, since it's a little too short right now (72-pages), I'm curious what aspects of the characters were underexplored so that I can make them more engaging to bring it up to 90 pages. For our Write a Short Film in 21 Days Challenge (OR you can present pages for another project), we're introducing 10-Page Table Reads! Bring up to 10 NEW pages, have them read aloud, and get feedback from the group. A few rules: ✅ You must bring pages to participate. ✅ Everyone helps by reading roles in other writers' scripts. ✅ Keep it to 10 pages or less so everyone gets time. This takes place next week, on Friday! We thought of the idea during yesterday's Production meeting, and I think it's going to be a lot of fun! The Make a Short Film with Your Phone in 21 Days Challenge is officially BACK! Starting June 10th, you'll have 21 days, which is Way More than enough time, to create a short film from start to finish. No fancy gear required! I've made my past 10 short films using just my cellphone, and I'm going to show you exactly how to do it. Your film can be anywhere from 10 seconds to 10 minutes long. Total beginners are completely welcome! We'll have a meeting on June 10th to cover production and answer any questions you have! Check the calendar tab to see the meeting!
