Paris Summits I am organising with a lovely team for RAISE Week…..I have my free guest list for anyone in my women in tech groups. July https://www.raisesummit.com/ Physical AI related Summit - At Station F 7 July https://machinasummit.com/ Other events.... there’s a Hackaton on the 4-5th with bunch of prizes and if you apply please let me know so I can flag who you are to the team and a start up competition with a 10mil prize pool, there's some rules like needs to be 2 founders, which are all on the website, but again if you're keen, let me know. And about 150+ other smaller events, with an AI security summit and just a big rave in deep tech downtown Paris too 🤣💃🤖. We also have some Moderator positions open for the Physical AI summit if it suits anyone’s knowledge position. @Sue - I think we should run a WiTPN Side Event in Paris that week, how much fun would that be!….I can find a venue that would host us, and if you can see if some of the group would want to come and speak…. I could get a decent audience there. Food for thought x

Soooo… quick little life/work update from me because I’m still like whatttt is happening.... you literally couldn't write my life lately!!! Three weeks into my new role… THREE… and I’ve had an email today from one of the directors inviting me into a strategy meeting when I’m down in London at the end of the month. He said they can already see there’s more I can bring than they originally realised… so they want to sit down and talk about where my skills can add more value and what that looks like in terms of my role (and salary) going forward… I had to read the email twice (ok, deffo more than twice!!) because… what!!!!!! After everything with the rejections, the knockbacks, all of that… I keep thinking about what my fairy godmother @Amanda Parkin said to me in one of our very first calls about the right door opening… and it really does feel like I’ve landed exactly where I’m supposed to be.... I just feel really lucky. And very seen. Which is crazy and so very unexpected this early on!!! Alsooo… remember the RAISE summit in Paris that @Sian Kelly Guy shared with us last week?.... I mentioned it in passing and they’ve come back like “this looks amazing”… so I’m currently waiting to hear if I’m getting sent over on a work trip for it 👀✈️... Again… what is my life 🤣 Anyway enough about me… How’s everyone doing this week?... How was your weekend?.... Anything exciting going on or are we just surviving and getting through it? I’VE JUST COME OUT OF MY SECOND INTERVIEW AND I’VE GOT THE JOB?!?!?!?! 😭👏🏼 I am not even joking… I’m currently pacing, screaming, laughing, crying, all of it at once because WHATTTTT IS HAPPENING 😭 The director is coming to Liverpool on Tuesday to meet in person and finalise everything… but the role is mine.….MINE. I HAVE AN ACTUAL JOB!!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!! 😭👏🏼✨ I don’t even know how to put this into words properly because this isn’t just “I got a job”… this feels so much bigger than that. Every single question they asked me… I had real answers for. Not theory…… Not waffling on with myself….. Real experience that I could confidently talk about!!!! And that is ONLY because of what I do in this network. This space has given me the chance to actually do the work…. to build…. to support….. to organise….. to show up consistently…… to grow in confidence…. and I walked into those interviews feeling it.….. It felt natural…… It felt like me💥💃🏼❤️🙏✨ And that’s all happened because someone took a chance on me…… @Sue Black thank you for trusting me, backing me, and giving me the space to step into this properly. I will never, ever take that lightly or forget it 🙏✨❤️ And to every single incredible woman in this network… you’ve embraced me, supported me, hyped me, picked me up on the wobbly days….. and that is EXACTLY why I’ve just landed the most perfect role. i am seriously just… overjoyed…..shocked and just so freaking relieved!!!!! Proper, from-the-heart, can’t-stop-smiling kind of happy 😭❤️✨I needed this win, especially this week & I couldn’t wait to share my fab news with all you amazing people that have helped me get to this point…… I feel like you’ve all been on this journey with me & now you get to see my happily ever after moment ❤️✨💃🏼🙏💯

Well… we did it! Stepped into @Sue Black shoes tonight with Lauren and what a ride that hour turned out to be. 😅💫 Sue everything is still in 1️⃣ piece! Haha I’m sure @Lauren Hargreaves will share the recording and wrap it all up officially, but honestly… thank you to everyone who joined. We covered everything from sugar daddies (yes, really!) to charities that somehow feel… well, less than charitable, to big bold plans for 2026, new careers on the horizon @Lubna Khan .. and those harder life moments of grief that catch us off guard and make us navigate a path that we didn’t think we would ever walk on .. big hugs 🫂 It was honest. It was raw. It was uplifting in that beautifully unexpected way these sessions always are. And that’s what I love about this network 💖 if we can’t be open, real, and a little messy here, then where else can we be?
