🎳 One Question Changed Everything...
I just spent the last twenty minutes scrubbing my bowling balls in the front yard. Yes, you read that right. I picked up bowling recently to keep my competitive side happy. Every Thursday night, I'm out there rolling strikes and picking up spares. Well, trying to anyway. Last Thursday felt different though. Something was off with my game. I couldn't figure out what the heck was wrong. Game one I bowled a measly 154. Not terrible, but not great either. Game two started better and I managed a 178. I was feeling pretty good about myself. Then my wife did something that changed everything. She called over my coach mid-game and asked him to watch me throw. Smart woman, that one. My coach watched me for about ONE THROW. That's all it took. Then he said something that hit me like a lightning bolt. "Why are you throwing the ball and not rolling it?" Holy cow. It clicked instantly. I had been hurling that ball down the lane like I was mad at it. But bowling isn't about power. It's about control and smooth delivery. The final game started and I made that one simple change. Instead of throwing, I focused on rolling the ball smoothly. Strike. Strike. Strike. Eight straight strikes to start the game. Half the bowling alley was watching me. People were whispering about a perfect game. I didn't get all twelve strikes, but I finished with a 275. Best score of the entire night. Here's what hit me after that game. Sometimes you're closer to success than you think. You just need someone to point out that one tiny adjustment. Without my coach, I would have kept throwing that ball wrong ALL NIGHT. Then I would have struggled the following week... then the next... then the next... Who knows I probably would have gone the entire season throwing the ball wrong and developing. terrible habits that would last for months of even years. But one simple observation changed everything. That's exactly why I am reopening my coaching program for 5 people only in September... You might be one small tweak away from building a profitable online business.
