4 contributions to AI for Clinics
Intro
Hi everyone! I'm Jem 👋 I run a VA agency focused on helping businesses optimize their operations through skilled virtual assistants and efficient processes. I joined to learn how AI is transforming private healthcare clinics, understand the operational challenges agencies are solving, and connect with others building in this space. Looking forward to learning and contributing where I can. 🤓

Welcome @Jem Arcibal
How much money do private healthcare clinics lose from missed calls?
Most clinics believe they answer “almost all” their calls. But industry call-analytics providers (Ruby, Tidio, GoAnswer) consistently show: “Small healthcare clinics miss between 25% and 45% of their inbound calls.” And here’s what most clinics never account for: 1. After-hours calls A significant number of new-patient enquiries come in: - Evenings - Lunch breaks - Saturdays/Sundays - Holidays If no one answers, people simply call the next clinic. 2. During hours when staff are busy Even during normal opening times, calls go unanswered because: - The chiropractor is in treatment - The receptionist is with a patient - They are processing payments - They are already on another call This is the single biggest “invisible leak” in most clinics. Example Clinic Inputs - 15 calls per day - 30% missed (industry average) - Some additional missed calls after hours - 15% of calls = genuine new-patient enquiries - LTV of a chiropractic patient: $400–$600 USD But what does this mean? 1. Missed calls per month 15 × 30% × 26 = 117 missed calls/month (Actual number is higher when you include after-hours calls.) 2. Missed new-patient opportunities 117 × 15% ≈ 18 new patients lost per month 3. Missed revenue 18 × $450 LTV = $8,100/month≈ $97,200/year Across typical clinics, the realistic range is: $50,000–$150,000 per year lost from missed calls, slow responses, and no coverage during or outside working hours. This is the easiest growth lever clinics ignore. No new marketing. No new ads. Just capturing demand that already exists. Very accurate. A lot of missed opportunities.
How to Spot AI Writing (That's Quietly Turning Your New Patients Away)
🚨 Your patients can tell that your marketing copy was AI-generated. And what is worse is the subtext you are sending out into your market: "we don't even care enough about you to write this ourselves". You are trying to start a new patient relationship with an already-broken bond of trust. 🔍 In this video I break down the specific markers AI leaves behind: Vocabulary tics (vibrant, meticulous, tapestry) • Rule-of-three padding • "Not just X but also Y" constructions • Training-clause flourishes • Em-dashes and curly quotes • Structured sections you never asked for ✍️ I run a fictional clinic's marketing copy through Claude with my FREE de-AI writing guide and show the human-sounding rewrite you can then add your own voice to. 👀 So watch this to learn how to always SPOT and STOP AI slop from seeping into your clinic's communications with your patients. #AI4Clinics #HealthcareMarketing #ClinicGrowth #PrivateHealthcare #DentalMarketing #ChiropracticMarketing #PhysiotherapyClinic #AIWriting #ChatGPT #ContentMarketing #PatientExperience

Cool stuff thanks for sharing. Another small thing is to shorten some words to make them look like humans; e.g. mgmt for management
The Future of Healthcare: AI-Powered Patient Communication & Booking
I know that doctors are facing many challenges every day, from managing appointments and answering repetitive patient questions to handling administrative tasks that take time away from patient care. My goal is to help doctors by creating an AI Doctor Assistant that automates communication, appointment booking, and daily clinic tasks — allowing them to save time, reduce workload, and focus more on providing better care for their patients.
