👋 Welcome to The Agent Lab. Start here.
Glad you're here! This is a room for people who want to actually build with AI agents, not just watch demos. Whether you wired up your first workflow last week or you've got agents running in production, you belong here. Let's kick it off. Drop an intro in the comments and tell us: 1. Who you are and what you do. 2. How long you've been playing with AI (be honest: "since last Tuesday" is a totally valid answer) 3. What you're trying to build, or what brought you here. 4. One thing you're stuck on right now (someone here has probably solved it) A few things to know: - New stuff drops regularly: workflow templates, build teardowns, and the engineering behind real deployments - No question is too basic. The people who ask are the people who build - No gatekeeping, no fluff. Share what works, ask what doesn't The fastest way to get value here is to engage. Comment on intros, jump into threads, post what you're building. See you in there. — Mike

Hey, I'm Louis. Been in IT since Windows 3.1 — back then I was the office wiz kid. These days the sponge is full, but the curiosity hasn't gone anywhere. I've been dabbling with AI for about a year, though it's less of a steady journey and more feast or famine — intense late nights for weeks, then radio silence for a month when frustration wins. What brought me here is the noise. Everyone I talk to has different tools, different terms, completely different approaches — and my eyes glaze over fast. My goal is to cut through that and actually understand what AI can do for me, what tools matter and why, and when to introduce them without subscribing to seventeen things I'll never use (looking at you, Make, Notion, n8n). My current project is a prompt assessment and routing system — takes a user prompt, evaluates quality, suggests improvements, then selects the best AI platform for the job. It expanded fast once I added output handling for Mermaid diagrams, DALL-E images, Word docs and PDFs. Stuck on: How to build genuine ongoing learning into the routing logic — so platform selection and response packaging actually improves over time rather than just doing the same thing repeatedly.
