Sometimes we focus so much on finding the next deal, learning the next strategy, or trying to get everything right that we forget to appreciate the progress we're already making. Maybe you're still looking for your first deal. Maybe you've completed several. Maybe you're building your buyer network, learning how to raise capital, or simply trying to understand which strategy fits you best. Wherever you are, there's always another lesson to learn and another connection that could change your perspective. I've really enjoyed meeting people in this community and hearing the different journeys behind the property goals. It reminds me that we're all learning in different ways and at different stages. So, as we are speeding the the weekend, what's that thing you're proud of yourself for making progress on recently? It doesn't have to be a big win. Sometimes the small steps are the ones that matter most.

I'm Lorraine Ellis from London, UK. I'm a real estate investor and property deal sourcer. Over the years I've had the opportunity to close property deals, raise capital for investments, and use refinancing strategies to continue growing my property business. I recently joined because I'm interested in learning more about note investing and understanding how experienced investors approach this niche. One thing I've realized in property is that not every lesson comes from the deals we complete. Sometimes the biggest lessons come from the opportunities we let pass, the ones that didn't work out, or the ones we simply weren't ready for at the time. I'm still enjoying getting to know people in this community, and one thing I love is hearing the experiences behind the successes. Those stories often teach us just as much as the wins.
