Air bubbles

Omg I have such a problem with these wen using buttercream to cover my cakes . Ive tried lots of tips Paddle the buttercream Hot water Slow mixing

Buttercream for covering cakes, I melt mine a little at a time in the microwave until it is a very silky smooth but NOT runny consistency and then slather it on and smooth with a scraper. If an air pocked arises, pop it a tip of a knife and then fill it and smooth again.

Swiss Meringue Buttercream

Does anyone know how long I can lead it in the fridge in a container? I know I can freeze it for 3 months but forgot how long in fridge.

I love your cake. It’s very great. I agree. I think American buttercream is more stiff for piping, but I think it’s really the cake artist preference and what works best for each individual person.

Hi everyone! 😊 I’m Lori — I run a home-based baking business and have mostly been focused on buttercream floral cakes and cupcakes (flowers are definitely my thing 🌸).
