hey everyone. I'm Lorenzo from Italy. I am a creative and dedicated material scientist deeply committed to reducing our impact on the Planet, driven by passion for innovative solutions and eco-friendly technologies. My experience spans from outdoor industry, thermal insulation and functional materials and I strive to integrate nature-inspired principles like biomimicry and regenerative systems into all my works, fostering a more sustainable future. I see this biomimicry community as the way to really go in this direction, thanks to creating a good network of professionals that can integrate it in their practices and then bring it to the world. I am now developing a reconnecting to nature course, in which biomimicry will be one of the lenses to push towards the right change of path. I think either whatsapp or telegram are mostly for sharing messages and links. Having a base as a website like here in Skool, allows the creation of sub-groups for discussion, as it really happens in a community. Moreover I believe that being within a messaging app, the mindful connection with the community could be lost, as it will appear as 'yet' another message onto the messaging app, and may be easily overlooked and left behind. That's my two cents. I like it here and when I come is to see what's going on I am focused on it
