Hey Jeremy, If you’re having a hard time beginning with the end of mind on your long-term goals … The first thing I want you to do is identify some of your larger, long-term life goals. At the end of the lifestyle section of the course we ask you to do an exercise, outline the lifestyle that you want on paper. After doing this, you should be able to begin with the end of mine on several of your larger, long-term life goals. But again the first step is identifying what they are. If your goal is to acquire a house, or maybe a car you’ve always wanted. You’ll first need to identify the price. Then you can begin with the end in mind (the price) and figure out a way to get the money. If your goal is to start a family … step one is finding the right person. You’ll need to identify the type of person you want to have your family with. Once you figure out the type of person, you can identify where you would be likely to meet them and find yourself in those social environments. You’d take your appearance seriously and get good at talking to women. Etc **Maybe you would like to have good health and live a long time. I know that’s of a goal of yours. By having this goal, you’ve already begun with the end in mind. You’re thinking of your life in totality. You’re exercising and eating properly on a daily basis to achieve this goal. You’re making sacrifices in your schedule and what you choose to eat in order to achieve this goal. Without realizing it, you’ve begun with the end in mind. You’ve analyzed a long term life goal. You’ve analyzed what it would take to reach the goal. And you’re executing daily rather than giving into distractions. Well done! These are a couple examples of beginning with the end of mind on your larger, long-term goals. Please feel free to respond.
