I would love to attend but work today. Can you take photos and share? Have a wonderful morning!
Citrus trees indoors
I have several citrus that I have moderate results with. After watching the February video about coplanting, I'm thinking they are lonely. What underplanting would be good for my little trees? They vary is ages 12 years down to 6 years old (that does not relate to their sizes lol) I have Meyer lemon, a lime and a mandarin, they are in roughly 12-18 inch pots as they are still pretty small.

In this video I talk about container gardens, in-ground gardens, hugelkulture and some book recommendations. Responding to a few questions posted here. Hope you enjoy it! The books I recommended in this video: - Permaculture, Sepp Holzer - Restoration Agriculture, Mark Shepard - The Permaculture Garden, Huw Richards - Permaculture, A Designer's Manual, Bill Mollison

Great video! I have a front/side yard that is literally filled with nothing, a few remnants of lawn, weed clover etc with approximately 10 x 35 foot space, SE facing. I was hoping to put in raised bed cutting flower bed. Now this has me thinking of hugelkulture potential but is this too small or narrow to consider that option. I don't want to put veggies here because the neighboring yard uses herbicides to keep their lawn nice. I have had pretty good success with the HOA in turning the front yard into a fruit forest and pollinator friendly space.
Who’s out in the garden?
Working on one of my client’s garden today. This is one of my favorite plants, Sedum Autumn Joy. I leave it be for the whole season for winter interest in the garden. I’m gonna be cutting it back soon, you can see the beautiful new growth ready to take off 🚀 What do you see in your garden? What are you working on?

Spent all of Saturday outside. Still uncovering low beds, turned compost and started prepping tall raised beds.
Has anyone turned on their drip system?
The peas are vining, the turnips are popping out, arugula is already flowering (the flowers are delicious!), and raspberries are leafing! Peonies started going crazy this week. And inside, the little tomatoes, peppers, and cantaloupes are starting. It's been great having time over spring break to water by hand and be out so much, but it won't be as sustainable once I'm back to work tomorrow. Has anyone else thought about turning on their drip system? I can't imagine we would have a hard freeze and I keep thinking I could just let it drain so it's mostly empty if weather comes in. Thoughts?

I just invested in some temporary soaker hoses for my planted beds. I don't have as much time to stand and water as I'd like to so I can at least turn a hose on for the soaker to putter around in some other areas while it is watering for me. I can't say it wasn't on my mind though!

Love outdoors, dream of owning a greenhouse, helping as many seniors as I can to navigate pure madness! Oh & did I say I love dogs, especially pugs.
