We came so close to Canada and the US finalizing a trade deal. Unlike horseshoes close does not count or help either countries economy. In 2023, the US recorded a trade deficit of $36 billion with Canada, but when you exclude energy exports, the surplus is approximately $85 billion. This indicates that the US has a significant advantage in the trade relationship, particularly in services, which has a surplus with Canada.

Everyone has to start somewhere! Starting a Freight Logistics business from nothing whether that’s a Carrier, Broker or another link in the supply chain like warehousing is not easy. I just started advertising my newly formed Gateway Crate and Freight business when I got my first Crating order back in 2012 from a mining company needing 30 crates. I had only a few tools and my past industry experience. Like many Entrepreneurs I had to find a way to fulfill this order for my first client! I threw a pizza party for a bunch of my friends at my house who came over and helped me build all these crates in my garage! Sometimes I’ll work with other Owner Operators who help me speed up my deliveries/installs on certain days. Today I got the Assistance from Leonard Mosley of Apex Express down here in Louisiana. He caught on quick and I was able to get my jobs done quicker today because of his help. No better way to get to know how an owner operator works than to do the work together. Primarily foreigners trying to get business as brokers or dispatchers etc. This is a post by a dispatcher that I don’t know, using a picture that was taken by me in my warehouse. If they are willing to advertise stealing other people’s photos. I don’t think they will have a problem with stealing your money. #papafreight
