@Jennifer Apelt you are doing great! Acrylics dry pretty fast so a fluid retarder will give you more blending time. I’m not concerned with the man, you start with a base and that’s good! When you add shadows thin your paint a little and build it up in layers like you would a graphite drawing. Practice with the fluid retarder dry time and blending over base colors on a separate canvas board to work out what feels best to try next. You are doing a good job!

Some of us need quiet time to recharge. What's your favorite quiet activity that helps you reset? Reading, painting, scrolling in peace, or something else?

I've been drawing and painting a lot more lately and that has helped me recharge. It's also easier to do in the winter months when we are snowed in!

Friday Morning
It’s Friday morning, have you hugged your pet today? If your pet is with you in spirit, have you given them an “in spirit” hug? Pets are the lights in our, otherwise, dark worlds. They can lift our spirits without ever saying a word. They deserve love, care, and respect. 🥰
