Never did I think I would be so educated on breast cancer. I found the lump in mid May and now I am well versed on HR, PR, triple negative, margins, tumor size, etc, etc, etc. The biopsy results shocked me and my family so much. I have been a "health nut" my entire life. Exercise, vegan, hike, ski, yoga, skin care enthusiast, etc so when this happened to me it knocked me over. i am now 14 weeks into neo adjucant chemotherapy (first with Carbo/Taxol and now with AC) I am hopeful that i will be found to have responded to all of this chemo and may only need a lumpectomy after but I have no preconceived notions anymore at all.
