@Susan Fick when my daughter who is 6 wants to see it’s a nice time for us to bond so i agree.

hum of my machine. the action of cutting and ironing and just knowing that this is something my mom and grandma used to do and it connects me with them.

For me it is a way to have alone time. It’s a time for me to connect with myself again and think. Sometimes when doing patterns and new projects it gives me focus on something different to give my mind a rest. Sewing is fun, relaxing and for me practical because I tend to make things we use around the house.

@Suzanne Krasnow you are so funny…yes, I have it the right way….giggle. I’m just being silly. I actually work slowly and don’t need to rip out as much because I hate to rip out seams. When I do, I go even slower and go one stitch at a time. I’ve seen other use an electric razor but that scares me to try it.

Loved the video. I like the thick spool all cotton. Stick with it. It comes in all colors. Not cheap but not expensive.
