I done did the survey.
Hello all!
I’m Kai from the Salt Lake City, Utah area! I have always enjoyed creative writing and have only taken it up as a hobby over the last two years. I write mostly in the genre fiction space: mainly horror, weird, and speculative (which, granted, makes me sound much more heady than I think I am). I’ve been in a loop of starting stories and not finishing first drafts, due to a heap of factors, I'm afraid. I look forward to connecting with this community and learning from you all!

Welcome!
Hello everyone!
I write fantasy. I've been writing for only a little over a year. I’ve almost completed my first book, I just need to do the final edit (I’ve read it well over ten times now and am still finding things). As I’ve been writing, it’s also been very fun to do some of the things in the book to see how it’s done!

Introduction
Hello all! Late to the party but happy to be joining! My name is Brindizi and I love reading, writing, and teaching--especially when it comes to teens. I've taught at a junior high school for three years and will be moving to teach in South Korea next month! I love all kinds of books and my current WIP is a YA travel abroad romance. I'm happy to swap books and give/receive feedback!

Welcome aboard!
Argh...
Currently writing not one, but TWO pieces in verse. For my usual buyer a piece has to be a complete narrative (beginning, middle, end) and come in at (or under) two pages. Now, I like this format, but writing that in metered verse does make the writing trickier. A LOT trickier. Kill me.

@JoAnne Maluti Got all excited yesterday when the perfect stanza popped into my head, only to discover it didn't match the meter of the piece at all. 😆
