I'll go first..... 🤩 Two clients landed jobs this month. (Secret: they shared what worked, they did exactly what I said.) My wins are not personal, but I am excited that even in this economy 🌟Four other clients have interviews. 🙏🏾 I delivered the 2-Page Resume course to over 350 attendees this week. (even though I am still under the weather) 🙏🏾I worked with clients to update their resumes to upload to USAJOBS by the deadline of September 27th. ARE YOU READY??

𝐋𝐈𝐄! Earlier this month I hosted my first live event in over five years. Let me be real with you. I almost talked myself out of it. I had already postponed it once. The voice in my head kept whispering that I could not do it, that maybe it was too much, that the time had passed. But this time I went all in. Nothing about it was perfect, except for one thing: it actually happened. And I did it. I stretched myself further than I had in years. I got my makeup done. I brought in a photographer and videographer. I even planned an after event. I showed up scared, but I showed up anyway. And here is the truth, had been telling myself a lie that I could not pull it off. But I did. That moment reminded me how many of us sit on the sidelines because we believe the lie. We wait, we stall, we second-guess. And all the while, the opportunity is right there waiting for us to just show up. The same goes for job searching. People say, “No one is hiring.” But I see people in my community and clients I am coaching land jobs every single week. The one big superpower right now is human to human connection. Nothing will ever beat it. Not even AI. It is irreplaceable. If you believe the lie, you will stay stuck. If you choose the truth, you will move differently. Here are 5 job search musts for the fourth quarter: 1. Polish your profile. Update your resume and LinkedIn with clear wins from this year. 2. Work your network. Reach out to five contacts this week. Coffee chats and check ins open doors. 3. Practice your pitch. Be ready to answer “Tell me about yourself” with confidence. 4. Track your search. Keep a system for applications, interviews, and follow ups. Clarity builds momentum. 5. Stay interview ready. Year end hires move fast. Have your stories prepped and your mindset locked in. Do not believe the lie. Companies are still hiring, and some of the best offers show up right before the year ends. My final thought: what lie have you been telling yourself, and what truth will you choose to walk into this quarter?

Why Pilates and Career Transition Equal Success Pilates has been my secret weapon recently in more ways than one. Yes, it tones your body, but it also teaches lessons that carry straight into career shifts. Here’s how: 1. Stretch Beyond Comfort Zones- Pilates lengthens and loosens tight muscles. In a career transition, it’s about stretching past old roles and routines so you can see new options. 2. Strength in the Small Things - Pilates works all those little muscles we forget about. Likewise, success in transition often comes from details—tweaking a résumé line, sending that extra message, showing up for one more conversation. 3. Balance and Core Stability - A strong core keeps you steady on the mat. In your career, inner stability—values, faith, clarity, keeps you steady when everything around you shifts. 4. Mind-Body Connection - Pilates asks you to be present with every movement. In career change, presence helps you notice opportunities and act with intention rather than panic. 5. Progress Through Consistency - Pilates isn’t about quick wins; it’s steady practice. Career transitions work the same way—momentum comes from showing up again and again. Takeaway: Fuel your body, fuel your career. Whether you’re strengthening overlooked muscles or overlooked skills, Pilates and transition both remind us: stretch, strengthen, balance, and keep breathing.
