Pretty in pink.
Easter Weekend Inspired Creations
We host Easter every year with our cousins. A few years ago we ditched the turkey and ham and started theme dinners, by country. This year it was France🇫🇷 Everyone brings something to contribute to the dinner. As with past years, it was a feast. In addition to cooking , I enjoy preparing small flower arrangements to give away and to place around the house. After all the cleaning, cooking prep and cooking is done, I “reward” myself with communing with flowers. I save this to the last as it relaxes me and gets me in the entertaining mood. This year time ran away from me and I was hastily throwing flowers into vases at the last minute. Having great product from Mandi (anemone, gunni eucalyptus, solidago, waxflower), big box store tulips (Costco) and trimming my indoor potted hellebores (Pink Frost variety) makes it easy to create sweet little gatherings of spring promise. Having a selection of vases to display them in is a bonus. Full disclosure-my husband says I have a vase addiction. I don’t dispute him😜 Enjoy these pics of some of my stress busting arrangements photographed in my art/craft room and in its place.

@Mandi Lauman my pleasure. Can’t keep these beauties all to myself. The anemone opened beautifully. There was one in the pics that I still had from last week! Fresh product! 😘
My Birthflower
My birthday is in April, and i have 2 birth flowers! Daisy and sweet peas. I actually adore both, the longevity of a classic daisy, sweet memories of making lil floral crowns from wild lil daisys with my mom and sister as a young child. Sweet peas also have a special place in my heart, the delicate vines, and blooms, with the sweetest scent ~are like no other. The symbolic meanings of them are: Purity, Innocence, true love, new beginings, blissful pleasure and gratitude :)

I missed the challenge…the week flew by. Wanted to join in on the Daisy chain thing. This is my son when he was 6 months. Often adorned with flowers. ☺️

Love it.
💐First floral challenge! 💐
🌷We had so much fun today doing our monthly floral challenge! 🌷We tested out the live option on this platform and had a few people come in the room with us. It’s very similar to ZOOM, so that’s cool. I didn’t know how to replay or record ( I will figure that out tho) so Kelsey and I redid the arrangements💐 next time we will plan to have as many of you LIVE with us! 🌹we are super excited to share the video with you 💐and even more excited to see yours! The full video and write up worksheet is in the classroom under- floral challenge - but we will post in our discussion feed too! Yay! Hope you all have fun too! Post your pics when you’re done! 💖 https://youtu.be/9G32OIQOgq0?feature=shared

@Sharon Marie thanks Sharon.I love this table too. I’ve recently created an art room for myself and I’ve promised myself to keep the table top clear so I can easily take pics of my arrangements.
