Hey, Your Job Lady family! 💛 If you receive an unexpected text from someone claiming to recruit for Amazon, pause before you reply. Amazon has warned about scammers impersonating recruiters and promising remote jobs paying $200 to $500 a day. 🚩 Watch for these warning signs: • Big pay for very little work or vague job duties. • “Jobs” rating products or optimizing product listings. • Pressure to move to WhatsApp or act immediately. • Requests for money, cryptocurrency or gift cards to start work, unlock tasks or withdraw earnings. Never pay someone to get an Amazon job or release your earnings. Do not share passwords, verification codes, banking details or your Social Security number through an unsolicited text. ✅ Verify the opening independently by typing amazon.jobs into your browser. Do not use the link in a suspicious message. Amazon does send application updates by text to applicants who opted in, so a text alone does not prove fraud. If the message looks suspicious, do not reply or click its links. Report it as spam and block the sender. Report scams at ReportFraud.ftc.gov. If you share a screenshot here, hide your phone number and other personal details first. Your Job Lady 💛 Connecting People to Careers
