Tuesday March 24, 2026 Active Faith Matthew 7:8 (KJV) Scripture:“For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” Today’s Reflection: Jesus speaks with remarkable certainty in this verse. He does not say some will receive, or that a few might find. He says every one that asketh receiveth. This is not a promise rooted in human effort, but in the faithful character of God. Yet there is a progression here: ask… seek… knock. - Asking speaks of prayer, bringing our needs before God. - Seeking speaks of pursuit, a heart that longs for Him, not just His blessings. - Knocking speaks of persistence, continuing even when the door does not immediately open. Many grow discouraged when answers seem delayed. But this verse reminds us that God is not ignoring us, He is often working in ways we cannot yet see. Sometimes He changes the situation. Sometimes He changes us. The promise is not that we receive everything we want, but that we receive what aligns with His will and goodness. The door that opens may not be the one we expected, but it will always be the right one. This verse invites us into a relationship of active faith: - A faith that asks boldly - A faith that seeks diligently - A faith that knocks persistently God responds to that kind of faith. Today’s Application: Today, bring one specific request before God, clearly and honestly. Then take one step to seek Him beyond the request (through Scripture or quiet time). And finally, keep knocking, do not give up if the answer doesn’t come immediately. Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, Teach me to ask with confidence, to seek with sincerity, and to knock with persistence. Guard my heart from doubt when answers are delayed. Help me trust that You are working even when I cannot see it. Align my desires with Your will, and open the doors that lead me closer to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Monday - March 23, 2026 Psalm 42:1 (KJV) Today’s Scripture: “As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.” Today’s Reflection: This verse paints a vivid and urgent picture, a deer (hart) desperately searching for water. This is not a casual thirst. It is not a preference. It is survival. The psalmist does not say, “my soul thinks about God” or “my soul occasionally seeks God.” He says, “my soul panteth.” Panting is intense. It is breathless. It is relentless. This reveals something powerful about true spiritual life: A genuine relationship with God is not passive, it is deeply desired. In a world filled with distractions, noise, and temporary satisfaction, many souls grow dry without realizing it. We attempt to fill spiritual thirst with worldly things, success, comfort, entertainment, but none of these can satisfy what only God can. Just as the deer instinctively knows where life is found, the soul that has been awakened by truth begins to long for God, not out of obligation, but out of necessity. This kind of thirst is evidence of something real happening inside you. It is not weakness. It is not emotional instability. It is spiritual life calling you deeper. Today’s Application: Today, take intentional time to “drink” from the source: Spend a few quiet moments in prayer without rushing Read a passage of Scripture slowly and reflect on it Turn off distractions and sit in stillness before God Ask yourself honestly: What am I truly thirsting for today? Then redirect that thirst toward the only One who can satisfy it. Today’s Prayer: Lord, awaken within me a deeper thirst for You. Let my soul long for Your presence more than anything this world can offer. When I become distracted or dry, draw me back to the living water. Teach me to seek You not out of routine, but out of true desire. Fill me, O God, until my soul is satisfied in You alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I thirst for Lord Jesus often. He filled a hole in my heart that I did not even really know was there when I first accepted and asked him to come into my heart. Now when I feel empty or "dry" I know I need to "drink of the living water".

Godly Sorrow That Leads to Life Sunday March 22, 2026 Today’s Scripture “For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.” 2 Corinthians 7:10 (NKJV) Today’s Reflection Paul is writing to the Corinthian church after a painful confrontation. Their sorrow over sin wasn’t just emotional regret, it was the kind of deep grief that actually changed them. That’s the miracle of godly sorrow. Godly sorrow is Holy-Spirit conviction. It hurts, but it heals. It doesn’t leave you stuck in shame; it drives you straight into the arms of Jesus. You see your sin clearly, you hate it, and you turn from it. The result? Repentance that brings salvation, freedom, and zero regret. Worldly sorrow, on the other hand, is self-focused. It’s the “I can’t believe I did that again” kind of guilt that spirals into depression, excuses, or despair. It leads to death, emotional, relational, and sometimes even physical, because it never turns to the only One who can forgive and restore. Think of Peter and Judas. Both betrayed Jesus. Both wept bitterly. But Peter’s tears led him back to the risen Lord. Judas’s tears led him to a tree. Same sorrow, two completely different outcomes. Today’s Application Take an honest moment right now. Is there something you’re carrying sorrow over, maybe a repeated sin, a harsh word, or a failure you can’t seem to shake? Don’t push the feeling away. Instead, ask the Holy Spirit: “Is this godly sorrow or worldly sorrow?” If it’s godly, let it do its work. Confess it specifically to God, receive His forgiveness (1 John 1:9), and take one practical step of obedience today. You’ll walk away lighter, freer, and with no regret. Today’s Prayer Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me enough to convict me. Turn every sorrow I feel today into godly sorrow that leads me to repentance and life. Break the power of shame and self-pity. I run to the cross, where my sin was already paid for. Fill me afresh with the joy of salvation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
