Getting older with prior issues…
I am almost 53yo, had complete hysterectomy at 29, had gastric sleeve 14 years ago and also 12 years post cancer, (triple negative stage IIIB breast cancer) and I’m looking into peps (reta30, klow80 and motsc40)…I’m learning that anything that’s IGF-1 I should completely avoid but I would like to ask if anyone has knowledge of other good peps for collagen/hair/skin/nails/LOOSE SKIN (abdomen/inner thighs), I am starting my journey with the gym and watching intake!! 5’4ā€ 135lbs and getting protein is very hard bc of smaller sized belly!!! Thanks for any advice or help! 🩷

GHK-Cu would be the best for hair/skin/nails, which you would get in the Klow (or Glow) but it has it limits! I have seen this question asked many times before and unfortunately no peptide can really fix loose skin ā˜¹ļø. Some things I have found to help the look of my belly skin (stretched from having 2 kids later in life) are GHK-Cu serums, topical glutathione spray, One Skin OS-01 peptide body lotion and body lotions containing retinol. I rotate and use them all regularly morning and night, and have noticed an improvement over several months!

@Margo Broussard yes if you google it, there are lots of GHK-Cu serums out there. I am actually using Tara’s GHK-Cu/Snap 8 serum that she sells on The Peptique. Snap 8 is effective for relaxing fine lines (like Botox, but not as strong), so I have heard some people suggest it for loose belly skin as well.
GHK-Cu
Hi everyone! Has anyone developed a delayed injection site reaction to GHK-Cu? I used it as a standalone several months ago and was fine. I started KLOW a few weeks ago and got a reaction and stopped after about 10 doses. last week I re-started GHK-Cu by itself and got another reaction. I know this is typical for this, but I’m so curious why it’s happening. It’s from the same supplier and the BAC water is also from the same company as I ordered the peptides. I noticed such a difference the first time I used it, so I’d like to continue. Again, I know this is typical for this peptide, but I also don’t want to overlook it if my body is trying to tell me something. Thanks, ladies!

My welts have gotten increasingly worse with Glow. Initially I didn’t get them at all, then only occasionally, and now almost always! I started adding KPV to the same syringe and that has helped. But I often take an antihistamine beforehand too because otherwise the welts can last for well over a week and they are itchy!
What should I take?
Hey ladies— i am super new to the peptide world. I have about 15 lbs I want to lose but don’t want to be on something that has a ton of side effects. I recently heard Tessa is great at getting rid of visceral fat and you don’t get all the bad side effects of it. Can anyone vouch for that before I buy some! My husband just started reta and I’m almost about to start microdosing that but want to see if there is a better way. Right now I am on BPC, TB, KPV & NAD. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I agree, I think you should try the Reta. I have been on a low dose of it for 3 months and haven’t had any side effects (1.0-1.5 mg per week). People definitely have side effects from Tesamorelin…many experience water retention and some experience more difficulty with sleep. The water retention supposedly resolves after about 4 weeks but some say it doesn’t until they are done with their cycle and go off of it! I tried CJC/Ipa and experienced water retention and an increased appetite so I stopped it after 10 days. I am now on Ipamorelin and have no side effects and much better sleep, but that wouldn’t be the first thing I would try for weight loss. My favorite is Reta and I have had great results amping it up with AOD-9604 for extra fat burning!

What are the peptides that you've actually noticed something from? Energy, midlife help, belly fat and just feeling better overall.

Glow for sure. That is the one that my got me hooked bc it took away all my chronic knee pain and made my skin brighter within a couple weeks! Then I started Reta and that has been awesome for food noise and losing a few lbs of fluff. AOD combined with Reta is great for burning fat. For belly fat in particular and feeling better in general, the growth hormone releasing hormones or growth hormone releasing peptides are great - Tesamorelin (which has been proven to burn visceral and belly fat), Ipamorelin, Tesa/Ipa, CJC/Ipa. I tried CJC/Ipa but it was a little strong for me (made me retain water and kicked up my appetite) so now I’m on Ipamorelin and happy with that. NAD+, SS-31 and Mots-C are all good for energy. For me, Mots-C was the best of the 3 but everyone responds to them differently. Before doing anything though, I would make sure you have gotten your bloodwork done and hormones optimized! That alone will be a game changer.
Energy-Which one to start first, NAD+, MOT-C, 5-Amino-1MQ?
Hello All, Question about where to start with addressing energy. I am fairly new to peptides. I am 58 years old and have been an athlete most of my life. I am consistent with my work outs and my hormones are optimized. I am currently running Tirz and have reached my goal weight so I am tapering back. I am just about to finish GHKCU and going to switch to KLOW. I have been on the struggle bus with consistent energy for several years. I wanted to see how peptides could help. I feel like my foundations with diet, exercise, sleep are good but I need a bit of a pop. Ideally would like to move to the energy stack (NAD+, MOTS-C, and 5-Amino-1MQ) that Tara speaks to on her podcast but I believe since I have not run any of these before it is best to start with one. Lately, (this is new the last few months) I have a hard time starting in the morning and for years I have definite afternoon crash of energy. I am looking to have sustained energy throughout the day and not sure which of these 3 to start with singularly. I would love to hear any experience or advice. Yours in health, Peggy DL

I always hear everyone loves NAD+! I did a cycle and didn’t notice any difference but I had not been dealing with any particular fatigue. I then layered in SS-31 (also felt nothing) and when the NAD+ cycle ended I started Mots-C (while still on SS-31). The Mots-C actually gave me afternoon fatigue for the first 2 weeks, and now I am feeling good but nothing dramatic. But - I think it has amped up my metabolism a bit bc I have gotten leaner since starting it. I was already on low dose Reta for a couple months and lost a few lbs at first but was stable for several weeks (mostly using it for food noise as opposed to weight loss) and then unexpectedly lost a few more soon after starting Mots-C.
