What part of your process do you dread most?

Best part of any day out there is the last hour of light. Everything goes gold, the birds get loud, and the smart thing to do is quit working and sit there. I've missed it plenty of times because I was busy setting up a shot of it. What are you documenting instead of actually experiencing right now?

Solo run on the Withlacoochee, I realized a day in that I'd left my prescription at home. Rough, sleepless night out there because of it. Didn't make the video. But it taught me something about being honest with yourself about your limits before you push off from the bank, not after. What's a limit you learned about the hard way, out where nobody was there to remind you?

Working on some videos and asked for some help with a few quote type ideas. This was part of the conversation.

Every trip I bring home a piece of driftwood, something with a shape that caught my eye on the bank. Carve most of them into something for the house. Never really talk about it on camera. It's just the quiet part of this that isn't for anybody but me. What's the version of that for you? The thing you do that has nothing to do with growing anything, you just do it because you like it?
