🎆 GOOD NEWS: THE SALE STAYS OPEN. HAPPY 4TH 🎆
We're holding the last sale through the holiday weekend so nobody misses it. 🎉 Premium: $27 → $14/mo 🎉 VIP: $97 → $67/mo This is the cheapest it will ever be. Once it closes, the price is gone for good. ⏰ New deadline: July 5th, 10:00 AM EST. This is the last extension. If you've been on the fence, sign up now. You lock this rate in and keep it every month going forward. 🖥️ ONE MORE REASON TO JOIN The week of July 5th we're dropping the software we've been building for this community. It goes out for beta testing first, and only Premium and VIP members get access. Sign up before the sale closes and you're in from day one.

If you are not premium get it... it is worth it. If I was not South African with the current exchange rate I would do VIP... but alas on a teacher's salary I will stay premium - and every dollar is worth it... One day when I am a grown up with a grown up job... I will definitely opt in for VIP. So if you have the cash flow... don't think twice... do it... ! And if you want to sponsor me... 🫠😉😉

So I am a teacher and honestly I have been trying to get out of it. I have done more certificates than most people I know - I have a Masters a PGCE and I know there are so many more people in the world that are smarter, more capable and honestly doing the things they love. Like this entire community. So in order to change my perspective and get into a field that I will thrive in I started building (using Van Clief Methodology and Claude Code using free credits from Loveable to create the following- I use the client brief method) LlamaLogIt (yes like let me log it...) and the reason is that the onboarding asks questions to meet you where you are at and try to find the optimised journey for your development to get into a new career or grow in your career. And you can go Liani but like so many people are doing this... yes sure I mean it is based on the Duolingo Streaks and motivational quotes that are a bit unhinged #millennial - but it logs any course you do within the site holds your badges (like credly) gives you a personal dashboard you can share with prospective employers but my favourite part is that whilst you are doing it you can update your CV and hopefully match it with a job you like... think Jack & Jill... now is this going to work... nope... will it work for me.. yes... Is it ADHD friendly well I am trying my best...am I building it to work for multiple people (yes and this is the first time I am building for scale instead of private based which I am learning so much). If you said a few months ago I would be building something (even if turns into nothing or whatever) I would scoff and say no way. But I am building something. I am excited and I get to play! So I also added a dev panel so I can make navigation between pages easier and honestly even if no one reads this... Thanks @Jake Van Clief for giving me back my curiosity.

Do people want AI or Automations but just don't know the difference?
Hi! I am finding a lot of webinars I go to use 'agents', but what it really is, is automations. Anyone else finding the same thing in their field? I work in education and when teachers talk - mostly I want to scream like that is just a workflow - that is just a scheduled task - that is not AI... and then "AI companies" come and want to sell you 'their product' and the same product is a built-in tool?

@Rich C, You are a legend!
I made a pet. His name is Gordon. 🐛
Drop him into the project you've been avoiding. He lives in a folder. Every morning at 9am he wakes himself up, checks how long your project has been sitting there, and pops up on your screen to tell you about it. Move in to a project you haven't touched in three weeks and his first words are: "i just moved in. nothing here has been touched in 23 days. the last thing was 'my-big-idea.md'. no judgment. some judgment." He names YOUR file. He counts YOUR days. Work on the project and he notices that too: "the folder moved while i slept. 'index.js', specifically. activity counts as affection. house rule." https://hubbardjoshua9-a11y.github.io/gordon-worm/GORDON.html --- He has five moods. Hopeful. Content. Peckish. Wistful. Wounded-but-dignified. Miss a few days and he goes peckish. Miss a week and you open your laptop to a slightly purple worm with drooping eyes being very brave about it. He doesn't guilt-trip. He journals about it instead, which is worse. --- His belly is an archive 🗂️ Got files cluttering your project you're not ready to delete? Drop them in his food folder and tell your agent "feed Gordon." He reads each one, has opinions, then dates and archives it out of your way. Not a bin. Still there if you need it. Just quieter. He archives them. He just doesn't do it silently. --- You can also make him talk 🗣️ Open your project with Claude Code and say "check on Gordon." He'll speak. He remembers things between sessions via his diary. He'll bring up your files by name like an old friend. --- Here's the thing though. Gordon is a fully compliant ICM build. STATE.md is the single source of truth. Nothing about Gordon is true unless it's written there. Each folder has one job and a stage contract that defines its inputs, outputs and edge cases. The diary is append-only memory the agent reads at boot. The food folder is an input gate. The belly is a write-once archive.

"...no judgment. some judgment." LOVE THIS! @Joshua Hubbard when I made my "tamagotchi" (stickman - called Bob- for a learning project), if I missed a day, he would say things like that. My favourite quotes from Bob: "No pressure. Just your whole future," and "I'm literally just pixels. Motivate yourself."
New Additions to the Council
Yes, another post about this. Its the topic of the week. I blame @Curtis Hays and @David Vogel for this. Last night I started copying and pasting all of their and @Ari Evergreen's posts and putting them into Obsidian for easy reference. Since Skool doesn't have a save post function, I am just manually doing it now. I am just going to say at this rate each one of them is going with their amazing content, they will probably end up being their own advisors in the council... 😂
