Later, I moved to Australia and New Zealand for about five years, and that’s where I really stepped into the world of solo performance. I played hundreds of gigs in pubs across Australia and learned how to hold down a full show on my own. During that time, I also learned how to DJ and produce techno. Near the end of my stay, I started blending those production skills into my live act, and that’s when everything clicked. I realized that the future for solo musicians and small ensembles is the fusion of live performance, DJing, and Ableton. It gives you more freedom, more control, and the ability to move between styles, adapt to different environments, and make your act feel full, dynamic, and professional.
