From J4K Student Goalkeeper to NFL Kicker For Green Bay Packers 😱 🏈 Mark McNamee, was a young goalkeeper who trained with Just4Keepers (J4K) Dublin for 6 years under the guidance of Coach Matt Gregg. When Mark first came to J4K, he was a talented goalkeeper in both Football and GAA Football, but he struggled with his kicking. Instead of giving up, Mark showed incredible dedication — always arriving early to practice an extra 20 minutes, and booking regular 1-to-1 sessions with Matt that focused on accuracy, length, and consistency. All that hard work paid off. What was once his weakest area became his biggest strength, leading to him representing the Dublin underage sides and progressing to the Dublin Minors. Mark’s powerful and accurate kicking then opened a whole new door — he was spotted and invited onto the NFL International Player Pathway as a field goal kicker! 🏈 In 2024, he even kicked a field goal on his debut for the Jacksonville Jaguars in a pre-season game. Now, Mark is hoping to make the Jaguars practice squad for the 2025 season. 🌍🔥 From struggling with kicking… to kicking in the NFL. 👏 That’s the J4K difference.
