Kara, I really appreciate that perspective. The reminder to tighten the focus is helpful, and it’s something I’m actively working on as I shape the funding strategy and how I communicate the vision to others. Over the next 6–12 months, Hometown Helpers will remain the primary focus, as it is already generating revenue and proving demand in the local market. It provides the operational stability that supports the broader vision behind Threds of Purpose. The $20K investment would primarily go toward scaling Hometown Helpers, including marketing to expand the client base, equipment and supplies to increase service capacity, and building the operational infrastructure needed to grow sustainably. At the same time, Threds of Purpose will continue developing the podcast and apparel side, building the brand identity and audience that will eventually support larger product launches and community initiatives like Cones & Compassion. The goal is to use Hometown Helpers as the revenue engine while the broader T.O.P. ecosystem grows around it. My aim is to build this intentionally—proving the model locally, strengthening the revenue foundation, and then scaling the larger vision in a sustainable way. I’m grateful for the guidance as I refine this, and I’m always open to insights that help strengthen the direction.
