Thank you so much for your messages, prayers, candles and intentions. It has been quite the 48 hours since Easter Sunday. Your prayers have really helped. We've had some good news and some bad too. Situation: When Marshall was hit by a car, it badly broke one of his front legs, fractured the other front leg and also squished out his intestines from where they belong, giving him a hernia. Before they could make any decisions, they needed to know he was stable enough for surgery, and so gave him pain relief, oxygene and really watched him. Last night he had an operation to put his insides back together. It was a bit more complicated than they had originally thought, but I got a call at 01.25am this morning to comfirm that his hernia/intestines were sorted out and he was stable and being observed. But I just got a call and he is not in good shape today - spiking a fever, showing signs of pain and inflammation around his abdomen. So I still need you best wishes and prayers for his recovery please. Once he is stable and his fever/infection is over - we;ll be able to bring him home and this is when the next part of his healing adventure will begin. His badly shattered leg is a big injury. We had a conversation about the chances of a full recovery with medical intervention, and the osteo surgeon didn't think the chances of a successful surgery were good, so we're going to bring him home and wait and see if he can 'self heal'. (Their recommendation) This is going to be a long road for him, because the front legs carry more weight than the back. We'll be given lots of pain meds for him and see if time will be the ultimate healer. Thank you so much for your ongoing best wishes and prayers. my apologies for the last minute notice. I need to cancel tonight and rest up. I was falling ill last night, and the morning I was able to work, but I was feeling much worse. I've rested today and got up again and just feel worse. So Tonight's session is postponed. I will rebook it when I'm recovered. Maybe next Monday, at the same time. This morning in the Virgo Classroom we were talking about Mother Mary and the consciousness of the ocean*. About devotion, about purity, sacredness and surrender. Later, I invited Carl and the kids for a midday walk at Salgado — our wild, empty stretch of coastline near Nazaré. I love it there. It feels sacred to me. Years ago, before we conceived our youngest, I made an offering to this very ocean. A private prayer. I stepped into the water for the first time — and was immediately taken under by a huge wave. Only later did I learn that this beach is completely unsuitable for swimming. People lose their lives here. Since then, I’ve had a very healthy respect for it. Today I stood at the shoreline and gave thanks for everything. For my littlest boy, now 7 and for the field of consciousness I feel part of. 🌊 And then the ocean gave me something back. ‘Moana’ style 🌺(Have you seen Moana?) A smooth, round black stone was dropped right at my feet on an otherwise empty beach. It had a natural circle worn into it — like a circle within a circle. It felt unmistakable. I picked it up and stepped a little closer to rinse it in the water. A small wave covered my feet — but as it pulled back, it took the sand (and me) with it. In a split second I was waist-deep and being dragged forward. At that exact moment I knew I needed to move. A huge wave was building behind me. I ran. It crashed just as I reached the shore and soaked me completely. Not the first time I’ve been drenched there — but definitely the last. It was a very clear reminder: there is something bigger than us. Later (of course) I checked the chart. Asteroid 'Luisa' was in a grand trine with Venus and Jupiter. 'Mary' (conjunct Chiron) was sextiling 'Stone' and 'Christen'. Make of that what you will. All I know is that I felt met by the Mother, and slightly baptised. Again. 🌊 *Mary is associated with Miriam in hebrew, but in christianity has been associated with the sea. - Mary (Mariam/Miriam) Hebrew - Mar / Mare (Latin for sea) - La Mer (French for the sea) - El Mar / O Mar (Spanish / Portuguese) - Il Mare / Mare (Italian/Romanian) - Maris (Latin, “of the sea”) - Stella Maris (“Star of the Sea”)
