Away Win @ Wolves
Lennox managed a big away win at Wolves today. Hes a very Happy boy making some great saves and also doing some more learning whilst in the job. Sets him and the team in good stead for the tournament up in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne this weekend where we will be playing A mix of teams from England and Scotland. Can't wait.

J4K SUPERO WET WEATHER GK GLOVES
Guys, as the wet weather is upon us, i have been asked about the best wet weather goalkeeper gloves. It is not the gloves you have to look out for, it is the palm. and by far the best palms for wet weather is GIGA GRIP We do have the J4K Supero Giga Grip all be it they are the most expensive gloves in our range, (because these gloves perform at any level including professional) This glove will not be for everyone, especially if you are on budget. but if your playing at a decent level and you need a glove to perform in wet weather, they do not get better than this But you can check them out here. https://j4ksports.co.uk/collections/supero-goalkeeper-gloves Please Note: If you want tio use your sponsorship code on this glove, DM me.. as they will not be set up for sponsorship until end of the month.

2 keepers at u14
Hi everyone During the summer my lad's Sat club told us they would be bringing in a second keeper and playing a half each. Son has only returned to keeping a year and we decided to leave and drop down a division to play the full game for his development. Lad was gutted with how he was treated. His Sunday team asked for early commitment during the summer, some lads were trialling elsewhere etc and they only wanted people committed to the team. We committed and paid subs for the year. Now they are a trialling a second keeper. They haven't said anything to us about it and how it would impact on his playing time etc. Would you expect coaches to speak to us? Should we speak to them? Just let things play out? Was a lot of money and is a lot of travelling etc. They may not sign him but shows they are looking for a 2nd keeper. GK is such a confidence position. You need the confidence of the coaches and this is not what you need just before the season starts. What does the community think? Thanks

Hi @Paul Vaughan so I coach an u15 team that my lad plays outpitch for and I am also a gk coach for kids and adults local to me. I have had a keeper in my team for the last 2 seasons that got dropped by his old team an we took him in. He was not at the same level as some others but he was willing and we took him on. We played bottom division 1st season and we went undefeated drawing 2 or 3 and he performed well. We went up last season and the leagues also got hashed around so we lost a division and we effectively jumped up 2 divisions playing against much better sides and we competed well and finished 3rd. Unfortunately the keeper cost us quite a few points and I had been trying throuhout the season to coach him but it wasnt being grasped and he was starting to get really upset during games. At the end of the season I went and spoke to both his parents face to face and explained that we were looking to go up again this year. I said we were happy to keep their son and keep working with him but we would also be looking to get another keeper in so we have cover in every position and to help push and support each other. Ultimately he made the decision to leave because he did not feel he was ready to play any higher. The big thing is open communication with everyone aware where they stand in that moment. Sorry its an essay but I hope it helps.
