@Manny Malfavon Sorry, but unsurprised, to hear of your experience. Some people are unsuited to the position; It isn’t their vocation and it would be better for everyone if they sought a different path. Enjoy Hawaii. ✨🌅✨
Lemon's Stage 4 RCC Scan Results — Stability & Subtleties
Lemon P shared detailed results from their April 2025 CT and MRI scans for stage 4 RCC (renal cell carcinoma), covering renal, liver, thyroid, and brain regions. The scans showed no new sites of disease — the right renal tumor, liver lesion, and thyroid nodularity remained unchanged since Dec 2024. While the results were largely positive, Lemon’s candid reflections on findings like mild coronary calcification and small vessel disease opened a nuanced discussion on how to interpret “stable” scans, address overlooked findings, and stay proactive in refining protocols. ✅ Key Protocol Components Shared - Lemon revealed she doesn’t follow a single “formal” protocol but rather a layered, flexible approach: - She is considering additional layers like CDS and continues with metabolic therapy foundations, while also navigating fatigue and brain fog. ✅ Scientific & Philosophical Insights - Stuart Briscoe framed the scan as encouraging — proof that her current efforts are holding disease progression in check. - Lemon underscored that “stable” is a very good outcome, even if it doesn’t feel like a victory: “The most important thing with cancer is to deter it from further growth & expansion.” - Schayene Silva raised the possibility of mold exposure contributing to calcification and kidney cancer, sparking discussion about environmental factors and detox priorities. - The thread highlighted the reality that different radiologists note different details, and small findings (e.g., calcification, spinal degeneration) can shift the conversation on health priorities. ✅ Practical Wisdom from Community - Kimberly Smith, Odette Rocha, Mark Ma, Nicola Chapman and others congratulated Lemon, reinforcing the importance of acknowledging “stable” as success. - Schayene Silva emphasized the need to test for mycotoxins if mold is suspected, while Lemon weighed the cost and practicality of such tests. - Fitch T asked Lemon which five protocols she found most impactful — leading to a valuable list of what she prioritizes most. - Lemon and Nicola discussed HBOT safety, with Lemon stressing that anyone with respiratory conditions must disclose them to providers.

Does Fat Feed Cancer? Seyfried vs McLelland Debate
Stephen asked for help finding where Dr. Thomas Seyfried directly debunks the idea that cancer feeds on fat. He was re-reading Jane McLelland’s book How to Starve Cancer, where she asserts that cancer can utilize protein and fat (particularly in prostate cancer). The post sparked a nuanced conversation around metabolic theory, cancer bioenergetics, and the contradictions between leading cancer thinkers. The community strongly leaned toward Seyfried’s stance: that cancer cannot ferment fatty acids or ketones due to their mitochondrial dysfunction. Seyfried maintains that glucose and glutamine are the primary fuels. Multiple members reaffirmed that in a state of ketosis—especially under calorie restriction—normal cells thrive on fat/ketones while cancer cells starve. The group also highlighted the need to critically examine Jane McLelland’s broader dietary advice, particularly her promotion of high-fiber plant-based foods, which contradict ketogenic metabolic therapy. Still, some members shared they found her framework useful when paired with Seyfried’s press-pulse approach. ✅ Supplements & Compounds • Ketone Bodies (BHB/AcAc) — Cannot be fermented by cancer cells • Glutamine — Targeted in pulse strategies • Fatty Acids — Not used by cancer for fermentation, per Seyfried • Off-labels mentioned: Ivermectin, DCA, Fenbendazole • Natural Compounds: Sulforaphane, White Button Mushrooms, Curcumin, Resveratrol • Sleep Optimization Aids: Melatonin, grounding sheets, Oura Ring for REM/HRV tracking ✅ Therapies & Strategies • Prolonged Fasting & Keto Adaptation — Several members report improved mitochondrial health and sleep • Press-Pulse Therapy — Combining metabolic pressure with periodic glutamine inhibition • Grounding Sheets & Sleep Tracking — Part of lifestyle stacking • HBOT (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy) — Mentioned to improve restorative sleep ✅ Lab Testing & Tumor Profiling • Liquid Biopsies — Some discussion around CTC analysis for targeted protocols • Tumor Tissue Analysis — Mention of Decipher/OncX, but sample quality often limits use

Seyfried says it’s irrelevant what you eat/drink. What matters, he says, is that you can get into ketosis &/or not keep spiking your blood sugar/insulin.

Seyfried says fat doesn’t fuel cancer. McLelland disagrees w/ him. I’ve heard some Dr’s also disagree w/ him. 🤷‍♀️
