Eat your fruit
People eat donuts and pancakes all day and no one says a word. But eat a mango, and suddenly it’s all: “Whoa, too much sugar!” Let’s get this str8. There’s a big difference between sugar that’s packaged in whole foods (like fruit) and sugar that’s dumped into processed junk. When you eat fruit, your body has to break it down—fiber, water, nutrients, all working together. That slows digestion and keeps blood sugar more steady. When you eat refined sugar (think cupcakes, candy, pastries), there’s no fiber, no buffer, nothing to slow it down. That sugar hits your system quick and hard, spiking blood sugar and insulin. Two sugars. Two completely different effects. I’ve never seen anyone blow up from eating too much fruit. But I’ve seen plenty of people struggle because they live on processed food. So stop being afraid of fruit. Eat it. Enjoy it. Your body knows what to do with it. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got a mango and a few more fruits with my name on it. Breakfast time 🔥
