One of the biggest mistakes we can make when getting ready for mocks/GCSEs is doing nothing over breaks like half term! Now, I’m absolutely all for having a rest and especially some much needed quality family and friend time but… The forgetting curve shows us just how quickly we forget information if we’re not regularly revisiting it using interleaving techniques like active recall, flash cards, etc. Just 3 x 20 minutes of good quality revision without distraction everyday will be the difference between remembering content for our exams and forgetting all of it after just 72 hours! This is all you need to do each day to remember more, build confidence and ultimately smash you GCSE exams! But it starts now, not a few weeks before your exams! This needs to be implemented as soon as possible so that you remember more when it matters most and don’t feel stressed out come exam time! So take advantage of the incredible video courses in the ‘classroom’ tab, attempt the practise questions and learn from any mistakes. Tick the box once you’ve watched it but come back to it in a month’s time and see how much you can remember! This is how winning’s done 💪 Just one hour a day and then enjoy the down time! P.s. this is mainly aimed at year 9s/10s. Year 11s you’ll probably be doing more than an hour but make sure you still have rests and down time! Let me know below what you have planned this half term!
