Skool is one of the most exciting platforms. Am I the only one that thinks this?
My journey in Skool is only one month old. I have found my feet (mostly), and have received so many useful tips from people like @Evelyn Madison and others. I am now about to embark on monetising my communities. Compared to other social media platforms, I have found it much more suitable for building a community. Used in conjunction with those platforms, it is a great platform for collaboration and making some much needed money. Am I on the right path here?

Skool brings elements from other platforms together in one place in a way that works well, there's nothing new or revolutionary here, just systems that are proven to work repackaged together. Given the stats shown on the latest skool news and the huge influx there has been in the last few months it'll be interesting to see where the team take things, what new features they will add and whether the platform can avoid going the way so many others have in the past. As it stands skool very much reminds me of the early days of facebook with the added advantage of classrooms and we all know what that's become now, filled with bots, ads and scams where even your own family don't see your content because of the algorithms. I'm not saying it will go that way, personally I'm trying to build something long tern here so I really hope it doesn't!

@Alex Armstrong the gamification element helps a lot with that building of connections it encourages people to engage with each other, obviously some people just try to game the system but they are easy to spot and avoid when they do that lol fingers crossed it continues to grow in the right ways 🤞 it’s off to a great start
Notes from the Hormozi x Sam conversation at the last skool event
Happy weekend! What are you up to? Working on your skool or are you taking some time off? Before I log off to spend some time celebrating my dad’s and my son’s birthdays, I wanted to share this video with you. It’s about the conversation between Sam and Alex at the last Skool Games winners event. This conversation was so valuable. I took four pages of notes, and in this video I share the top of mind takeaways from the discussion. There are some very interesting insights, especially now that Alex has his own Skool. Check it out and let me know what you think 🤗

@Elizabeth Alice but you aren’t contributing to the conversation when you do this and it’s just self promotion which is against the rules

@Elizabeth Alice no thanks
I’m Neu here ✨👋
Hi, I’m James and I’m super excited to join this group. Am UK based, and as an AuDHD individual, am fully aware that I have a different way of thinking to many people, but also like a lot of others too. Am here to learn from @Evelyn Weiss how to build a better business and community online, and am looking to expanding my knowledge and my network, whilst helping others where, and if, I can. ✨👍

Hi @James Sopp AuDHD also in UK 🇬🇧 I teach business basics in an inclusive environment with plans for a ND/Spoonie exclusive community in the works so seems we are working in a similar niche 😸

@James Sopp sure always happy to bounce ideas and connect
Question for the spoonies
Are there any communities on here that are specifically for chronic health/disabled (business owners or not)? Trying to find my people and I’m debating opening one (but would rather join an existing one as I already have a community for my business) I’ve tried searching on the discover tab but it just shows me 100’s of business related groups nothing specific to what I’m looking for 🤷‍♀️

@Saskia Crawley I couldn’t let it go lol I have built my 2nd community 🙈 to make the financial and energy investment possible I’ve put it behind a small paywall (also to keep the bots out) but the standard tier is the safe space I was looking for 😸

New, but learning
Hello, new and just starting to navigate my way around Skool. Looking forward to meeting others, learning from others and teaching and assisting people with energy healing for themselves and their pets.

@Sheryl Mortenson thanks but I’ve already had 2 people dm me with details about funding grant coordinators and tbh I’m not that worried about securing funding
