We have talked about the ways of the Visionary, the Healer, the Teacher, and the Warrior. Most people feel one or more of these more strongly than the rest. It is our nature to resonate more with certain Ways. We are called upon to be ALL of these. There will be times in our lives when each set of skills will be needed. Visionary, Healer, Teacher, Warrior. When we master all 4, we become a complete person. We are a complete Medicine Wheel. This is the goal. This is the destination. It does not matter where on the wheel you begin. When the circle is complete, so are we.

Today I want to talk about the wisdom and transformation of the Native American Medicine Wheel. The Visionary corresponds to the East. It's element is air and color yellow. The Way of the Visionary is guided by the following directive: "SPEAK THE TRUTH WITHOUT BLAME OR JUDGEMENT." This is the core belief of the Visionary. To speak the truth, the Visionary must have the discernment to SEE the truth. When you choose to speak the truth, your DISCERNMENT INCREASES. When you walk the Way of the Visionary, the truth you speak attracts CLARITY. Speaking the truth is only HALF of the directive. "Speak the truth -WITHOUT BLAME OR JUDGEMENT." This is not as easy as it sounds and takes introspection. It is one thing for the Visionary to speak that the sky is blue. It is quite another for the Visionary to tell someone that their actions are inappropriate. This is the true test of the Visionary. To speak hard truths with compassion, and WITHOUT BLAME OR JUDGEMENT. When you choose this Way, and do this, it attracts to you COMPASSION. The Visionary walks in meditation. The Way of the Visionary is a starting point for wholeness and empowerment. This is because we must first speak the truth without blame or judgement, TO OURSELVES! Nothing can be built on falsehoods, and the truth must start within. There is no VISION, CLARITY, or COMPASSION without truth. Join with me today and make the decision to face the East and begin walking the Way Of The Visionary.

Today let us talk about the South of the Medicine Wheel and the Way of the Healer. The south is the element of fire and the color red, reminding us of heart. The Way of the Healer follows a sacred decree. " PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT HAS HEART AND MEANING." Clearly, without heart and meaning there can be no healing. Those walking this path must walk in Love. This includes all forms of love, and the Healer must discern the differences between them. Because those walking the Way of the Healer are givers of energy, love, and healing wisdom, they must beware not to empty their cup. It is vital for the Healer to practice self love, and self healing. One walking this path must themselves be healthy. The Healer knows the value of a proper diet and exercise. Energy medicine and herbs. This is just the body however. Walking the Way of the Healer means healing your own inner child. Only then can you help others do the same. The Healer knows it is not enough to heal just the physical. Heart, mind, inner child, and spirit must all be healed to create happiness and alignment. The Healer walks in a meditation of COMPASSION that extends to, and from self. The old saying "Physician heal thyself" is fitting here. Those are the first steps of the path of The Way of the Healer. Once healed themselves, the Healers cup gets deeper and deeper, but is never bottomless. Often however, their cup of Compassion does become endless, for it is what they attract. The Healer also attracts the energy of health and healing, often aging much more slowly .

Today I want to talk about the Way of the Teacher. This is the West of the Medicine Wheel. It's color is blue and it's element is water. This is fitting as ancient wisdom is sometimes referred to as Living Waters. Those walking the Way of the Teacher have the following directive. "BE OPEN TO OUTCOME, BUT NOT ATTACHED TO OUTCOME." This creedo shows the wisdom of the Teacher. Nothing can be received without being open, yet attachment is well known to block receiving and set us up for disappointments. The Way of the Teacher is to walk in and manifest TRUST. The Teacher embodies Wisdom, Clarity, Objectivity, Discernment, and Detachment. The Teacher must TRUST these qualities in self first in order to share them with others. The Way of the Teacher is to help others learn to TRUST in God and the Universe. To see with clarity, and TRUST, but not ATTACH to outcomes. A true Teacher is a powerful at manifestation. They have all the tools. They are naturally quite good at teaching this to others. Their great discernment tells them when to do so, AND when not to. This is The Way of the Teacher.

Today I want to talk about the Way of the Warrior. The Warrior in the North of the Medicine Wheel. It's colors are green and brown. The Earth is it's sign. The Way of the Warrior is outlined by the following creed: "SHOW UP, EACH DAY, IN THE PRESENT, WITH COURAGE!" The Warrior deeply understand the meaning of honor and respect. It grows from within and is extended to others. The Way of the Warrior requires presence because past battles are over and future ones not yet here. The Warrior walks in and attracts DISCIPLINE! Warriors tend to be natural leaders. True leaders must have the skills of the Warrior and be fully in the present. The true courage of the Warrior is not on battlefields of war. It is courage in making DECISIONS. The Warriors strength is not found in the use of weapons, but in the right and just use of power. Warriors understand the the value of boundaries. They say "yes" and "no" with ease. These are the Way's of the Warrior.
