Welcome to Home Maintenance
This is all about real-world fixes. Repairs, upgrades, maintenance questions, DIY projects around the house—great place to learn skills that actually save you time and money.
welcome to Woodworking
This is the shop side of things. Furniture builds, joinery, finishes, jigs, wood choices—post progress pics, ask for feedback, or show off a finished piece.

Welcome to Carpentry
This one’s for job-site work. Framing, trim, layout, measurements, problem-solving—anything you’d normally deal with on a construction site goes here.

Welcome to the Carpentry 101 Community !
To my wonderful community, welcome and thank you for joining! As a community i ask that we are respectful at all times to each other, we all come from different backgrounds with varied skill levels and experience. i would ask that members joining the community introduce themselves to the community and include the following: A pic of their workspace (if they have one) A brief intro about themselves What you want to get from the community I would also ask that members contribute to polls when asked to vote on things. I look forward to your posts and getting to know everyone Lee Dickinson

Next big project this spring
Pole barn for the critters! Congratulations on launching your Skool community. Bringing 20+ years of hands-on experience and structured training into one place is a huge value for learners. Best wishes for a successful and impactful community.

we need to make plans so you can work out a material list this will enable you to cost the project especially if you have a budget you want to keep too. Also for this building do you need any permissions from your local council/government in order to build.
