Dear Brother, After prayer and careful consideration, we will not be sending money to purchase Bibles at this time. We say this with love and concern. There are a number of Christian ministries, churches, Bible societies, and organizations in Pakistan that provide Bibles either free of charge or at a very low cost. Because of this, we encourage you to continue searching locally for the immediate help you need. We would also be willing to assist you by helping identify organizations in your area that may be able to provide Bibles and other resources. Brother, we also pray that you are being completely honest with us. There are some things that have caused concern. Initially, we were told that people were in need of water, but now the request is for Bibles. We were also told that a Bible would cost $8, and later the amount changed to $10. In addition, you mentioned speaking to people using the name “Muqaddas,” yet I have never given you that name, nor do I know anyone by that name. Please understand that we do not say these things to accuse you. However, we must be wise and exercise good stewardship. Sadly, there are many cases in which people have used requests for Bibles or ministry needs as a means to obtain money dishonestly. If your request is genuine, we would certainly rejoice to see people receive Bibles and grow in their faith. We are also aware that many Christian communities in Pakistan, including areas commonly known as Christian Colonies, have churches and ministries where new believers may hear the Word of God. In addition, many Bible translations can be accessed digitally through mobile phones and Bible applications where available. We pray that the Lord blesses you, guides you. Grace and peace to you in Christ.
