A poem for my wife
I feel you on my skin; my shielded veneer Like the sand encircles the ocean You envelope all my essence Captivating me with each and every wave like the tide taking back its water You pull me to your loving embrace Shaking all the sea glass off my frame Our silhouettes tap dancing with desire The moon over the salty air looms Showing my favorite shades of love Then your eyes held onto mine & a star shot across the sky Asking for a wish to be made I desired to see my fate I asked the seashells for a depiction But instead they whispered all they knew My life begins with you.

When your eyes are closed Tell me what do you see Or will you feel exposed To admit it’s always me
An excerpt from my wedding vows
“But something in me recognized something in you, like our hearts whispered a secret the moment we met. I knew, without understanding how, that every step of my life had been leading me to you.”

Mourning love
And so his heart mangled Half his soul twisting Sailing in the frosty wind Tears numbing across his face Will he ever breathe again Her enchanting flavor And see her silhouette twirl Passion entombed by soil His life, he pleads His dearest, cold and departed Will life really move on

Candy
When you are companionless What is it you contemplate Is it contented and composed Or crazed and cruel Coked or comatose Which character will I make you Cranked, cracked, and cheated You can’t combat me anymore Concede me the counteractive Of your complications and concerns I will cohere to you like cement Chasing away the corrupt Obscured in the clutch of chaos I’m your conclusion, your wrong choice Candy fixing calamity A calm purgatory -Blood & Bloom Poetry
