Honestly, I just need to feel a little less alone right now, and yeah. This is a little but of an emotional dump lol, sorry in advance. I’ve been struggling. A lot. (Far more than I care to admit actually.) This community is my baby. I’ve poured a year+ of my life into it and lately it feels like it’s crumbling. This week I’ve had people tell me to shut it down because I'm not making $$ off of it/I'm giving too much for nothing in return, and then others say I’m doing too much or changing too fast. I’ve spent the last few days crying, feeling like a failure, and completely re-evaluating everything. I’m running on empty and it’s catching up with me. My target audience is shifting, the pieces keep falling—I'm pouring everything into everyone else (my toddlers, my work, this community) and nothing is left for me. My throat has been tight all day like I’m holding back tears, yet again. I’m exhausted, lonely, frustrated, and disappointed. This hasn’t just been about the community. Life outside of business has been heavy too. We’ve been told “not right now” for our dream house because of financing (unless we come up with a massive down payment - that we don't have), largely due to the fact that we’re still recovering from a car wreck in December that totaled our car and wrecked our credit since we didn’t have full coverage. That one still stings. (Pro Tip: Don't ever buy a new car unless you rolling in dough & got it all upfront lmao) On top of that, I’ve been battling my own body. I’ve been eating clean, working out, doing “all the things,” but instead of losing weight, I’m gaining. My cortisol levels are through the roof. It’s breaking me down mentally, and I’ve cried more days than I’d like to admit. I see my doctor this week to finally get a game plan, but the frustration, disappointment, anger, sadness... has been heavy. It’s crushing mentally, especially as someone who was VERY healthy, fit, and lean prior to having our kids 2 years ago now. It’s just been constant frustration, disappointment, anger, and sadness on repeat.
