First update. After few hours of back and forth texting between me and my targeted customer, here are the news: I skepticaliy sent a picture of a product to him, not knowing what to expect. He was curious and wanted to know more about it and also what would be the starting price. I explained the key features of my design which he recognized looking at the photo. He said that he had never seen something like that before and immediately ordered 5 pieces, because the price was OK to him. He brought up his concerns about potential copycats who may buy 1 and try making their own, or even not buy but just try copying it deductively. I said that I'm aware of that possibility. I personally don't know him, maybe it works out, maybe not. However I will pay the delivery costs this time which are 3-4$. For (potential) upcoming orders, the delivery is on him, that's the agreement. The only thing bothering me is how easy the design can be stolen. My conlusion is that I must try otherwise I won't learn.
