@Brian Ellwood Awesome prompt, those are the things I've been missing, and yea, I totally agree about getting it to leave out the exclamation marks 😁

@Cindy George I know what you mean about wanting to get things like downloads ready to go out before publishing. I didn't do this and now I'm playing catchup!
For those of you who want to grow a personal brand / audience / email list...what's your #1 struggle in doing so?
This is the only way I market my services and many of my clients want to do the same. I want to see what questions / struggles people have with getting started or getting traction.

@Brian Ellwood , I got this from you before but it's reminded me that I need to use it with a few redirects as I feel like I'm slipping back into doing different tasks, completing them (for once!) but realising t the end of the day that I'm no nearer my goal. I think Alex did a video on this recently didn't he? He used the analogy of branches growing out from the tree when it's the trunk that needs to grow first. It will definitely take me a while to go through all my projects but what I love about using AI is that you pretty much only need to do the prep once and that's it. One of my biggest problems has been that I write articles/guides multiple times because I'm always thinking I need to improve on them instead of using "Done beats perfect" and then moving onto the next goal.

@Brian Ellwood it's for the mosaic side to establish my authority by having a book/workbooks. Just 2 cover the foundation of this niche, plenty of general ones but none that really niche down. 1 will be my 'giveaway' the other tied in with a course. I intend to follow your book, get it done and out then isbn, on amazon etc. Then I offer my (dfy/dwy) services to other artists and craftspeople saying "look at what I've done, this is how you 🫵 can do it too" 😁 I need to really dive into the process though and get it mapped out.
How I Use Book Chapters to Create a TON of Content
This week I spent a long time writing a SINGLE book chapter, and felt unaccomplished. Then I put the chapter in AI and asked it to give me 20 tweets and shorter form post ideas. Ten minutes later I had tweets/threads scheduled out for the week. I also recorded it as a YouTube video (the most recent one I posted). Then I made it a blog post, sent as a newsletter, and posted the blog post on Medium. A single piece of great writing is an asset you can use in a dozen ways. And, you can post/share it repeatedly over time. I'm digging this book > content flywheel, because it accomplishes my goal of writing a bunch of books but also consistently posting to grow my audience. Just wanted to share in case this is helpful.

I've just tried this with a 3 paragraph introduction to one of my workbook sections and asked it for 5 Instagram posts, hooks and comments and it's worked really well. I got two versions, one for promoting the workbook and the other set for just 'value' and I love the second set as it will provide insights for my audience that would have taken me a long time to come up with. 👍

@Brian Ellwood yeah, and writeing it out means I can see what I needs to be expanded on or simplified.
Devious Thought - I didn't do it, though!
Yesterday, I attended one of those online webinars where a "guru" says, " I'm giving away all of my secrets." Um...if by "giving away" you mean buying an annual subscription to Kajabi through your affiliate link, NO! That's neither "giving away" nor ethical, IMO. But, while on the webinar, the host mentioned there were over 300 participants. I couldn't tell because the participant count was hidden from everyone. This devious approach ran through my head: What if I posted a link to the free download page for my book? Would that be ethical? I didn't do it, but I seriously considered it. After all, I felt cheated out of my time for attending, only to find out it was a Kajabi commercial. What are everyone's thoughts on this? It feels devious, but it is an innovative approach. I'm sure a few people would have opted to download a free copy of a book titled "Liberating the Overworked Manager." Thoughts? Am I a bad person? 😬

Yes absolutely you are 😉 I imagine if you had posted your link then, if they had an admin they would spot it. Those webinars are such a pain though, 'get my free training' when it is just a pitch. I would like to see them show a 'map' of their full training and then show which bit you get for free to give it some perspective.
Loving Claude!
I've had a workbook that I've needed to write, that I've promised people I'd get done for nearly a year now and I've gotten more of it done with Claude in an hour than I have in all that time. 🫣 What I love is being able to get it to add in certain frameworks (I use Jason Fladliens a lot) and also have it add principles that I work to that I've picked up from past jobs. I did start off with the prompt engineers, (I can't remember where I got that, here?) and that got everything moving. This is the prompt I started with, "Act as a prompt engineer. 1. Review the following prompt for me. 2. Optimise it to make it better. 3. Ask me any questions you have before proceeding."
Loving Claude!

I've had some unexpected time so I've sat down with my framework printed off and next to me and I'm building my workbook after so long of having just bits and pieces of it 😁

@Brian Ellwood I've been working with it on that one thread and it's not stopped yet but it does seem to happen in the afternoons. I've also got Co-pilot open in another tab to the write of my Canva one as that's got another section of the workbook it's working through!
