Walking coaching
Best score of the week! 🚶🏽‍♀️ 11 km of coaching. 🏁 I’ve been practising walking coaching. Yesterday, I had so many meaningful conversations that I reached my best score of the week: 11 km of coaching, totalling 15,782 steps! 👣 It’s amazing to see how the distance I cover while talking to people makes a difference not only in their lives but also in my own well-being. Combining physical activity with coaching sessions has been a fulfilling way to stay active and help others at the same time. 🤝

Important Announcement
In 4 hours, I'm going LIVE again. 1pm EST / 6pm UK And this is something I'm going to be doing every single week. If you've been wondering exactly what Live Weekly Intervention Coaching actually is… Let me explain. On Monday, I took Cate through a live Breakthrough Coaching Session. She came in overwhelmed. Scared to start coaching. Worried about money. Lacking confidence. And when we started digging, we discovered there was MUCH more underneath the presenting problem. That's what intervention coaching is about. Not simply listening to what somebody tells you their problem is. But knowing how to identify what's REALLY going on. Understand how much pain it's causing. Know which questions to ask. Know when to challenge. Choose the right intervention. And then actually help somebody change how they feel. You can watch the whole breakthrough here: WATCH MONDAY'S BREAKTHROUGH COACHING REPLAY HERE And here's the important bit… I don't just want you watching me do this. I want to teach YOU how to do it. That's what we're doing inside Live Weekly Intervention Coaching. Every week, I'm going to teach you different intervention techniques and coaching frameworks. We'll practise them. You'll see me demonstrate them. You'll watch me coach. I'll explain WHY I'm doing what I'm doing. We'll look at different clients… Different problems… Different emotions… Different situations… So you start building a toolbox of interventions you can confidently use in YOUR coaching. Because the goal isn't for you to become good at watching me coach It's for YOU to become bloody good at coaching. To sit opposite a client and not panic about what to ask next. To recognise the pattern underneath what they're saying. To know where to take the conversation. And have the skills to create an actual breakthrough. That's how competence grows. And as I said on Monday… Confidence comes from competence. In 4 hours, we're doing it again.

@Renata Tari right!?
AI might actually be the best thing to happen to coaching
I know there’s a lot of fear about what AI is going to do to coaching. But I actually think AI might be one of the best things to happen to great coaches. Because AI is making information almost worthless. Want a framework? Ask AI. Want 10 questions to improve your relationship? Ask AI. Want to understand your attachment style? Ask AI. Want a plan for dealing with procrastination? You can have one in 30 seconds. So if your value as a coach is simply knowing things your client doesn't know, then yes… AI is a problem. But that's not what great coaching is. People don't just want more information. They want transformation. They want someone who can listen to what they're saying and notice what they're NOT saying. Someone who can challenge them when they're avoiding something. Someone who can spot the pattern underneath the problem. Someone who knows when to push, when to stop, and when the entire direction of a coaching session needs to change. And increasingly, I think people are going to crave that human connection. Which is one of the reasons I'm so excited about relationship coaching. Because relationships are messy. They're emotional. They're unpredictable. People know they shouldn't keep having the same argument… but they do. They know they shouldn't still be triggered by something that happened ten years ago… but they are. They know their relationship patterns… but knowing them hasn't changed them. That's where a properly trained relationship coach becomes incredibly valuable. And on Monday 12th October, I'm going to show you how to become one. I'm running a free live masterclass: The Coaches AI Will Struggle to Replace And How to Become One I'll show you how I see AI changing coaching… Why relationship coaching is positioned so differently… How becoming ICF accredited fits into this… The methodology we teach our relationship coaches… And importantly, how we help you get access to real people to practise your coaching with, so you're developing your skills with real-world experience rather than simply completing a course and being sent on your way.

Ed you are spot on!
How do you deal with failure?
I know that no-one is perfect and with that, you can't do without failure. Now, how do you deal with your failure? This is mine 👇 "I always look for what I gained from my failure, when I look it from that angle, then it’ll always be a success to me. Also will automatically pull me out of a low resourceless state over into a high resourceful state." Everything that happens is a good thing, everything.

@Soliu Tiamiyu I saw this phrase years ago and it released me: fail = first attempt in learning. Next attempt is made with added knowledge.
Coaching Versus Selling
I’ve been listening to a lot of sales calls from the coaches in Clients On Automation recently… …and the common theme is that most coaches fail to make sales easily because they over coach. The old ways of thinking that giving VALUE and COACHING means the client will buy from you does not work! Most coaches don't know how to give great value AND have their clients buy consistently. Most coaches give great value BUT the client does not buy. Sound familiar? I know some don’t like the word “sales” – I get it! But the truth is, as a coach, selling your coaching is the best thing you can do for a client. Always remember… …in “sales” your intention should always be to help your client. That’s it! So sales is coaching. Your clients’ current way of thinking has put them in the current position they are in. So when you’re on a sales call, what you need to do is to help your client shift their thinking. If your client already knew what to do and how to do it, then they would already have the result. But, as a coach, you must understand the psychology of selling as a coach specifically… …or else you’ll go too deep into coaching and the client will not buy. Worse than that though… …the client will still have their problem! You will not be able to fix your client’s problem completely in a 60-minute session. If your client is going to fix their problem, they will need to buy your service. Transformation takes time and effort. They need your support to fix their problem. The worst thing you can do for a client in your sales call is to have them think that what you have discussed is enough for them to solve their problem. They will only go away and the problem will get worse. Therefore, YOU MUST NOT COACH ON THESE SESSIONS! You will still give high value in your sales call. Because of your sales call, the client will be able to understand their problem on a deeper level. They will be clear on the method they can take to get rid of their problem. They will know the path to take that will eradicate the problem.

THIS ,is one of my biggest problems! I am from the old-school mindset that overgiving value will cause the client to buy. I am proof that IT DOES NOT WORK! Sales call
