✨ Hi everyone! I’m Lauren, and welcome to The Early Childhood Learning Collective! I’m an early childhood educator, administrator, and professional development coach with over 15 years of experience in licensed childcare. I’ve worked in both private and corporate settings, giving me the opportunity to experience nearly every aspect of our field—from the classroom to leadership. I know firsthand the joys, challenges, and sometimes overwhelming reality of working in early childhood education. No two days are ever the same, yet our goal remains the same: providing children and families with the highest quality care possible, regardless of the obstacles we face. I’m passionate about helping educators become more intentional in everything they do. Whether you’re just entering the field or have years of experience, you’ll find practical strategies for creating structured routines, designing meaningful and developmentally appropriate lesson plans, navigating difficult conversations with families, building positive classroom culture, and creating classrooms that run smoothly because children know what to expect. Outside of the classroom, I’m also a mama to an amazing two-year-old and currently serve as the director of a childcare center in a small city in Illinois. I created this community because our profession is evolving. Children have different needs than they did just a few years ago, educators are navigating new challenges, and families are balancing more than ever before. I believe that as early childhood professionals, we have the privilege—and the responsibility—to shape the next generation through intentional relationships, meaningful experiences, and strong partnerships. My hope is that this becomes a space where we can learn together, share ideas, encourage one another, and grow into the educators our children deserve. I’d love to get to know you! 💛 Introduce yourself below! • Where are you from? • What is your current role? • How long have you been in ECE?
