Bubbles
Hi guys , did you had problem with bubbles that appear after you pass with the hot gun ?

Are you in a hot climate? If so, having an air conditioner on until a few hours after you mix the resin will help. If not, you might be using the heat gun too late. And if neither of those make sense it could also be that you are heating the resin up too much with the heat gun and it would benefit from less heat being applied. Hope that helps!
I need help!!
Ok I have tried to create ocean waves a few times now and they all end up looking like the first image. I have tried leaving the white to thicken for varying amounts of time but not much difference. I am wondering if it is the tool I'm using to blow the waves - I just have a basic hair dryer. Would that be the issue maybe? Also, randomly after one ocean attempt I had left over white and blue resin so I marbled it together on a test piece of wood and it looked like cells were started to form! I'm just a bit confused at this point. Any advice would be much appreciated :)

Hi Tara, have you tried a different resin? Or even a different type of white, sometime a different brand will give you much different results, it will most likely not be the hair dryer but more the pigments or resin
Pigment is not sticking to the wood
I am not sure what is the issue if you see the pigment is not sticking to the wood can you please let me know where i am going wrong. I tried second layer it is the same

Hi Gayathri, it looks like there may be oil on your wood or potentially some has been contaminated in your resin, do you know where the oil may have come from?
United States Acrylic Inks ??
What are your goto inks for acrylic colors? I see you guys are using art spectrum there in AUS...but I"m looking for a sourcing here in the United States.

My first and second try
The first picture is my first and the second is my second try . Do you think i should add more turquoise in the second wave ? Thank you Lauren so much for the course , i learned a lot of details regarding the ocean design 🩷

Oh this is wonderful to see the two side by side, what a huge improvement! And no I think the second wave is perfect, but, always great to test and see. Are you happy with the result?
