United States Acrylic Inks ??
What are your goto inks for acrylic colors? I see you guys are using art spectrum there in AUS...but I"m looking for a sourcing here in the United States.

Did you manage to find anything?
My first and second try
The first picture is my first and the second is my second try . Do you think i should add more turquoise in the second wave ? Thank you Lauren so much for the course , i learned a lot of details regarding the ocean design 🩷

Oh this is wonderful to see the two side by side, what a huge improvement! And no I think the second wave is perfect, but, always great to test and see. Are you happy with the result?
Great course :)
Good evening! Really enjoyed the course, it was very informative! :) I wanted to find out two things: 1. What is the best way to clean the buckets etc afterwards if its not disposable items like the coloured cups? 2. Where can I get the pigments you mentioned? I am in South Africa and can only seem to find Mica powders which mostly have that very metallic look. Other more solid colours there is only a very primary blue available in most places. Thanks so much Lauren!

So pleased to hear! 1) We don't clean anything, instead we just let the resin cure and then reuse them :) 2) Look for art inks - such as acrylic inks or drawing inks. Anything that is a potent colouring will work, just make sure it is acrylic/water based
Lauren, hi.
Please advise in the summer do we need to use air-conditioning for the resin , we live in Cyprus and the average temperature in the summer is 36-37 degrees C

It is okay to have it cool in winter, this won’t produce any bubbles :)
Loved the course !
Fantastic course and explanations! One of the things that you mentioned in it was you would talk about some of the places you source materials and I am not sure I caught that. You definitely talked about the inks that you use, but not the wood sourcing. Also I see a few of us here in Florida, I"m looking to source raw cutting boards and also raw materials we can use on our CNC, any suggestions would be extremely helpful! Waiting on a few more supplies and we will definitely post our first attempts!

Hey Raquel! So amazing of you to join us, my best advice here is finding a local supplier, these people are going to be great because you’ll be able to get your pieces immediately as well as supporting some of your local businesses as well

That sounds like a great idea, I think that probably mid this year we might be launching another course. Will let you know what’s in the works.
