Hi, Manifestation is also my main topic of interest to live and teach. I am curious about your and other community members' perspective - What’s the biggest difference you’ve seen between people who force manifestation vs those who actually allow it to work?

I think allowing feels really counterintuitive to people, myself included. I'm still unwinding stories about how productive I need to be, how much effort I should be putting out, when and what makes me creative, etc, and I've been exploring this for a long time! I've become skilled at seeing the signs when I'm *really* forcing, but when I start to really dig into the nuances, it can still be a fine line between aligned action and forced effort.

Welcome @Damini Yogini Thanks for this! and awesome question. One super interesting thing I've been playing with lately is instead of forcing myself to do all my work I "have" to do (i.e. client work that pays my bills) in the mornings when I'm most productive and focused, I do the work I want to do instead. So my art practice or creating content for this space or writing. I'd previously thought that would never work because I always just assumed that I wasn't creative at other times of day. But turns out I 'm just as creative, I only have to work harder at focusing. Result - my client work is still getting done and my fun work is getting more fun!

I truly want you to manifest everything your heart desires, and fast. Like BOOM! tomorrow. I also know that transforming our outer lives (i.e. manifesting) means transforming our inner lives. And as much as I’d love for that to be quick, it doesn’t always happen that way. Instead, doing inner work is like any journey. It begins with the cliched single step. To paraphrase Antonio Machado,* you find the path by walking the path. By taking steps and gaining knowledge that leads to mini-breakthroughs and tiny transformations along the way. Let this be a comfort to you. Because if you’ve been manifesting something, but haven’t seen it yet, IT DOES NOT MEAN THE THING IS NOT FOR YOU. It only means you haven’t yet experienced enough mini-breakthroughs and tiny transformations to undergo the full inner-life change. This is what we do in our monthly New Moon Manifestation workshops: practice finding the mini-breakthroughs and tiny transformations that add up to full inner-life change. Together, we walk through - Moving into the right energy for change - Being vulnerable enough with ourselves to understand why we’re reluctant to change - How to support yourself while moving through change - Experimenting with ways that make change easy and fun This isn’t a training you sit and watch.
