The medium is solely acrylics. I put the paint exactly where I want it on the canvas, and I layer it. Then I dab it with the balloon. There’s about ten layers of paint on the right one. In doing this, I learned that if I add that many layers, some parts of some of the layers are pulled off by the balloon. It creates a tactile effect, as a textural difference was created within the layers.

@Ariel B Thank you. I primarily use acrylics. I have also used colored sand and candle wax.
