Hi everyone! My name is Laura and I live in Northern Illinois. I started Flamenco in 2022 while I was living in Kansas. I would say maybe 15 months total at Flamenco, but not a consistent 15 months. It took me awhile to find a local teacher in Illinois (so happy!) so I could continue on. My challenges seem to be related to consistency. I have done virtual, and it is hard with the footwork. Some of the guest teachers from Spain moved too fast for me. In addition, having a good place to practice at home, tennis shoes just don’t cut it! I don’t have proper flamenco shoes, but headed to Spain in October and it is on my list of things to buy!

@Margarita Ferguson ditto on the forgetting part! I am guilty of watching the videos too late after I lost what I worked on!
