Today’s Reminder: You Don’t Have To Earn Rest
A lot of women in survival mode only let themselves rest once they’ve hit breaking point. Once the house is done. Once everyone else is okay. Once the work is finished. Once they’re completely exhausted. But your nervous system was never meant to live in constant pressure. Today, I want you to pause for a second and ask yourself: What would change in my life if I stopped believing I had to “do it all” to deserve peace? This is your reminder that slowing down is not laziness. Rest is productive. Boundaries are healthy. And softening doesn’t make you weak. @Empire Rise it’s very humbling and more so in the fact that it’s my 10-year-old grandson that is the one doing helping. It makes it a little easier to accept the help cause he wants so much to make sure that I don’t hurt myself further.

@Empire Rise probably calm down some . It will take practicing that reset several times because when I am learning something new, I struggle so sometimes that increases my anxiety, but I do think it helped overall. And I totally understand about being asthmatic and having to do workouts at home. I don’t have asthma anymore. I do most of my workouts at home. I don’t live near a gym so I do my yoga Pilates strength training at home with what I have.. when I was over 190 pounds I could barely do any movement so sometimes all I did was take steps in place in front of the TV and that was my exercise but those little steps with exercise bands help me be able to move my body . I am happy to hear you do work workouts at home. Do you use an inhaler?

@Empire Rise Yes I love breath work . It is helping me learn how to reset and refocus whatever might be bothering me.. I think I spent most of my life in fight or flight mode. I think the trick is to learn how far we can push ourselves.
