Happy Thanksgiving 2025
🍁 Happy Thanksgiving from Let’s Talk! 🧡 This week, while we paused our in-person session, we want to take a moment to reflect on the power of unity, friendship, and gratitude. Let this be a reminder: You are not alone. You are part of a growing sisterhood committed to healing, growing, and thriving — together. 🌟 Whether you've shared your story, held space for another, or just quietly shown up — you are appreciated. This holiday season, we honor the strength of women, the beauty of connection, and the simple, powerful act of saying thank you. 🫶 We are grateful for YOU. 📝 Journal Prompt: What are you most thankful for this season? How has being in community helped you grow? 💬 Feel free to share your reflections in the group or take a moment of quiet gratitude. Every voice matters here. We’ll be back next week with our final November session: The Power of Gratitude – Rewiring the Mind with Thankfulness. 🍂 Until then, have a warm, safe, and joy-filled holiday. With love 🥰, Lourdes & the Let’s Talk Team

Happy Thanksgiving queens!! I hope everyone had an amazing holiday! To answer your question, I am thankful for another year to spend with my loved ones, and for the chance to grow old when so many of my peers were not given the chance.
Practicing Presence: Finding Joy in the Now
Hello, Empowered Women! 💫 As we step into November, our theme is Gratitude & Growth — and we begin by slowing down to savor the present moment. 🕊️ This week’s topic, Practicing Presence: Finding Joy in the Now, invites us to pause, breathe, and remember that this moment is all we truly have. So often we’re pulled by our to-do lists, past regrets, or future worries. But healing begins when we learn to be here, fully — in our bodies, our breath, our joy, and our awareness. 💬 Discussion Prompts Feel free to respond to any of these in the community chat or your journal: - What brings you joy right now? - When was the last time you felt fully present? - What distractions keep you from being in the moment? - How does presence feel in your body? 📝 Journal Prompt Ideas - “What’s one small joy I overlooked this week?” - “Where in my life am I rushing, and what would it look like to slow down?” - “How does practicing presence support my healing?” 🎯 Mini Challenge: At least once this week, put your phone away and spend 10 minutes being with yourself, nature, a loved one, or in silence. 🧘🏽‍♀️ Affirmation: “I am grounded in the present. I am safe. I am here.” 💌 Don’t forget to check out the downloadable journal pages and respond in the discussion board. Your voice matters. Your story is sacred. We’re growing — together. One thing that brings me joy is the Sunday dinners I have with my family just sitting around the table reminiscing and laughing. I especially love hearing about how my mom and her siblings grew up. My goal is to write a series of childrens books with characters based on their lives as a tribute to our humble beginnings ✨️
Greetings

✨ Inner Child Work – What She Needed and Still Needs
This week, we’re diving into the heart of healing: inner child work. 💗 Your inner child holds the memories, beliefs, and emotions formed early in life—some joyful, some painful. As women, we carry the dreams, hurts, joys, and unmet needs of our younger selves. Deep within us lives a little girl who still remembers what made her laugh, what made her afraid, and what she longed to hear. In this session, we’ll explore: - What did your younger self need that she didn’t receive? - What does she still need from you today? - How can you nurture, soothe, and reparent her now? Through journaling, mindful reflection, and open dialogue, we’ll begin the work of honoring and supporting the little girl within us all. 📝 Journal Prompt Ideas: - Write a letter to your inner child. What does she need to hear? - What memories still hold emotional weight for you? - What did you wish adults had told you or done for you? Many of us learned to survive early. We became strong, responsible, even hyper-independent. But our inner child may still be waiting for someone to say: “You’re safe now. You are enough. I see you.” ✨ Reminder: Healing doesn’t mean erasing your past — it means reparenting yourself with the compassion you deserved all along. You are both the woman and the girl inside. You can hold space for both. 👭 Optional Sharing: Post one of your journal responses in the community! Use the journal prompt as your post title.

I wish my parents would have told me that I was pretty so I would not have looked for validation through a man's eyes. I had a child at a very early age because I fell for someone's words. I feel like I was infatuated with him because I never heard those words from my parents. I was filling a hole in my heart. I have self love now and I look back and just wanna hug that little girl.
Hello Everyone
My name is Madelyn. I am excited to meet some new people. I am always on a journey to better myself so I think this group would be very beneficial to me. Also, it is nice that it is local.

Madelyn, I joined for the same reason. What I'm realizing is it's ok to embrace support. As women we take on so much. In a space like this, we get to take care of ourselves for once.
